吳稚暉與國語運動

本論文計十二萬言，共分七章十六節，第一章為緒論，說明本文研究動機、研究方法 與研究範圍。第二章吳稚暉之早年生涯與漢字改良。以清末切音簡字運動為背景，敘 述吳氏之早年及其受學經歷，和發明豆芽字母之經過。第三章敘吳氏在巴黎新世紀時 期之漢字改革主張，及其與章炳麟作語文辯論之經過。第四章敘述吳氏主持民二年讀 音統一會並製定注音字母。第五章敘述五四運動前後的漢字存廢之爭與文言白話之爭 ，並研究吳氏在論爭中之立場與主張。第六章敘吳氏領導國語運動推行機構，從事國 語法令的制定、國語師資的培育、國語辭點之編定及注音漢字之推廣，均貢獻卓著。 第七章為結論，探討吳氏在國語運動史上所扮演的角色並予以評價。
