本論文以語言的世界圖景為基礎，探討俄漢語親屬稱謂系統所隱含的兩民族之特色。分二個大方向：首先研究詞彙語義，包括蒐集古今俄漢親屬稱謂，找出詞彙的流變脈絡、新詞與舊詞交替情況，列表作一有系統之整理，並劃出現代俄漢語常用之親屬稱謂詞以及其構成之系統。其後根據上述系統，以義素分析為手段，比較俄漢語相對親屬稱謂的等值性。第二個主軸則是民族文化，試圖探討俄親屬稱謂中呈現的文化異同：主要分四個部分，男女地位、婚姻形式、「自己人」與「外人」的分別，以及俄漢親屬稱謂誤用、消失之情況與肇因。
