第一章、緒論。首先說明研究動機、目的、範圍及方法。 第二章、介紹德日農地繼承法制之概況，以供我國做參考。 第三章、我國財產繼承法與台灣民間繼承習慣之探討，除說明其概況外，並分析農地 繼承實例，以明瞭農地細分之可能性及細分現象有無因時間別、地區及規模別而不同 。 第四章、台灣農地繼承法制之回顧與檢討。以歷次農地繼承法令擬訂時行政院所持之 立法意旨，及審議時立法院反映之民意，檢討政策目標是否妥適？立法內容是否切實 。 第五章、為農地一人繼承可行性評析。探討農民主觀意願，社經客觀條件，以為評析 農地一人繼承是否可行之指標。 第六章、結論與建議。包括農地一人繼承可行辦法之研擬。
