"Estudo sobre o traço e estado de ansiedade das nutrizes que apresentaram indicadores de hipogalactia e nutrizes com galactia normal" / "Study about the trace and anxiety state of nursing mothers with the insufficient breastfeeding indicators presented by them and nursing mothers with normal breastfeeding"

Aragaki, Ilva Marico Mizumoto 15 April 2002 (has links)
The complaint about “few milk" or insufficient lactation has been pointed as one of the most frequent causes of the weaning or interruption of the exclusive maternal breastfeeding and, the low volumes of breast milk have been associated to the maternal anxiety that could provoke alterations in the physiology of the lactation inhibiting the lacteal production. The objectives of this study were: to identify the trace and the anxiety state in the 10th postpartum day and the anxiety state in 30th postpartum day of the primiparous and multiparous nursing mothers who present insufficient brestfeeding indicators; to characterize the trace and the anxiety state in the 10th postpartum day and the anxiety state in the 30th postpartum day of the primiparous and multiparous nursing mothers who present normal breastfeeding; to comparae the trace and the anxiety state of the nursing mothers with insufficient breastfeeding and nursing mother with normal brestfeeding, in the 10th and 30th day postpartum and to verify the possible relationships among the anxiety state of the nursing mothers in the 10th and 30th day postpartum with the insufficient brestfeeding indicators presented by them or their children. Have participated in the study 168 nursing mothers and their children who formed 4 sub-grops with primiparous and multiparours who present insufficientbrestfeedind and primiparous and multiparous who present normal brestfeeding, with 42 women each. Have been included in the insufficient brestfeeding group the women and newborn that presented or they referred to one or more insufficient lactation indicators. The obtained results have showed that the nursing mothers of this study has presented average scores of trace of anxiety according to the average anxiety and the average of the scores of the anxiety states in the 10th and 30th day postpartum corresponding to the low anxiety. The primiparous and multiparous who present insufficient brestfeeding and the primiparous with normal lactation have presented higher anxiety state for occasion of the 10th and 30th day postpartum. The primiparous with normal lactation have presented in the 30th postpartum higher scores of anxiety state than those have presented by occasion of the 10th postpartum and both below the scares of the anxiety trace obtained 10th postpartum. For those women the experience and the normality of the lacteal production didn´t reduce the anxiety degree. In relation to the insufficient lactation indicators and the anxiety state of the nursing mothers in the 10th and 30th day postpartum, we found a direct relationship between the presence of the indicators and the increase of degree of maternal anxiety. Although we have been finding relationships among some insufficient lactation indicators and the degree of maternal anxiety, it was evident that the remission of the maternal and neonatal signs, depends, most of the time, of the correction of the brestfeeding technique through orientation and support offer to the nursing mothers.

Aging and healthcare experiences and concerns of older black gay men living with HIV/AIDS in a selected township in the Cape Metropole

Mange, Thembelani January 2020 (has links)
Magister Artium (Social Work) - MA(SW) / This research originated from a focus group which the student was part of as a research assistant. The focus group concentrated on LGBT aging and care where participants who are HIV positive spoke about their concerns. The Anti Oppressive practice was deemed suitable for this study as it gives charity on social justice movements as the major roots necessitating the emergence of anti-oppressive practice in social work (Wilson & Beresford, 2000; Thompson, 2002, 2003). Social work, in being a unique profession, contains several distinct approaches and philosophies regarding care, what it constitutes and how to stop or slow social problems that generate the need for care. The project was funded by the National Research Fund.

Likvidace obchodní společnosti s nedostatkem majetku / Liquidation of a company having insufficient assets

Steinbachová, Eva January 2020 (has links)
Liquidation of a company having insufficient assets Abstract The diploma thesis primarily deals with situations in which a liquidated company with insufficient assets may find itself. It deals, among other subjects, with cases where the liquidator finds out during the liquidation process that the liquidated company is in bankruptcy or when any undistributed assets of the liquidated company appear after the end of the insolvency proceedings. The aim of the thesis was mainly to describe and critically analyze the legal regulation of the above-mentioned situations, focusing on the interconnectedness and the most significant differences between the process of liquidation and insolvency proceedings. The thesis also deals in more detail with the figures of liquidator and insolvency trustee, their rights and obligations and mutual cooperation within both proceedings or the simplified liquidation of a company with insufficient assets to cover the costs of insolvency proceedings. The author of the thesis tried to achieve the set intention mainly by a detailed analysis of legal regulations, academic writing and relevant case law. At the same time, the thesis deals with controversial and unclear provisions of effective legal regulation concerning the subject matter. The diploma thesis is divided into five structured...

Kainz, Aran January 2016 (has links)
An employee’s job performance does not necessarily decrease just because the employee gets older. But there is an anticipated correlation between reduced job performance and age with respect to certain job assignments. Along with an increased life expectancy in today’s society it’s important to promote equal opportunities regardless of age. The purpose of this thesis is to clarify under witch circumstances a dismissal due to insufficient work performance is justified. Furthermore this thesis purpose is to clarify how current legislation affects elderly’s position on the Swedish labour market when it comes to dismissal due to insufficient work performance. Even though Swedish and EU provision protect senior employees rights to some extent, there are still gaps in the legislation that can disfavour elderly´s possibilities to maintain their employment. In order to answer the research questions at issue a traditional legal dogmatic method is applied in combination with a sociological law perspective.
