本篇論文共分六章十三節，約十萬字左右。第一章緒論，論述研究此論文之目的及近 代中國學會運動觀念之由來。第二章江蘇學會運動發展之背景；分三節，主要探討江 蘇省民智之發展、士紳階級的覺醒和外力衝擊與江蘇省學會運動發展之關係。第三章 戊戌時期江蘇省學會運動之發展；分四節，主述上海學會，上海地區學會運動之初起 ，其它地區學會之初起和學會之暫停。第四章庚子以後江蘇省學會運動之發展；分三 節，主述庚子以後學會運動之轉型及其在江蘇省發展的狀況。第五章江蘇省學會運動 的影響與成效；分三節，探討學會運動中領導與學會的關係，其發展在時空上分布之 意義以及江蘇省學會之特色，影響與成效。第六章結論。

La problemática arquitectónica de realizar un homenaje a Matta en su centenario el 11.11.11 es interés personal y coincide con Ley N° 20.132 que “Autoriza la construcción de un monumento en memoria del artista Roberto Matta Echaurren”. El proyecto aborda el tema de cómo la arquitectura puede apropiarse de un personaje y cómo este personaje puede ser incorporado a su proyecto de manera formal para entenderlo de una manera perceptual, conceptual y espacial.

The purpose of this thesis is to explain this evolution of Mobil's corporate identity, and to determine the effect of the 1911 dissolution decree on it.

This thesis examines the ministerial call in three novels by William Golding, specifically The Spire, Darkness Visible, and Rites of Passage. The central character of each novel, a Christian minister, has a vision, or series of visions, which dominates his life. The call and vision(s) of Golding's ministers are examined in light of Jacques Ellul's The Humiliation of the Word, a work examining the differences between the word and the image. The ministerial call, in this thesis, is linked to Ellul's ideas about the word; the vision, in this thesis, is linked to Ellul's ideas of the image. As a result of following their vision(s) rather than their call, the ministers fail, and their lives end in despair and ruin.

Informe de Seminario para optar al grado de Licenciado en Filosofía / El objetivo de esta investigación es proporcionar una clave de lectura sobre la filosofía de Mainländer y Cioran, analizando los planteamientos de ambos autores a la luz del nihilismo, como punto común. Por medio del establecimiento de dos acepciones de nihilismo –a las que se llega tras un sondeo a la tradición filosófica–, y aplicando un sentido de nihilismo en el caso de Mainländer y otro sentido en el caso de Cioran, se consigue vincular a ambos. A raíz de esta lectura se detallan las actitudes de supresión de sí como una consecuencia práctica, particularmente en la elección de no engendrar nueva vida y el suicidio. La supresión de sí, mediante estas dos actitudes, es un punto común que permite emparentar ambos pensamientos, por medio del análisis aquí realizado se termina por distinguir la peculiaridad de cada planteamiento, proporcionando así los contrastes, influencias y similitudes de ambos pensadores.

This dissertation is organized around main axes: the literary and critical concept of the Double and the analysis of Antonio Fogazzaro’s 1881 novel, Malombra, in which the Double plays a complex thematic role. In the first chapter, I address the concept of the Double as a critical category, assessing its meaning across three different levels of reality: in terms of the cultural specificity of the representation (the 19th century and Romantic literature), in terms of the theoretical approach (whether it is construed as a transcendental figure, as in Freudian theory, or a transgressive figure, as in Jungian theory, etc.) and in terms of its placement relative to the other themes in the text. In the second chapter, I take up the analysis of three Italian texts from the second half of the 19th century which privilege the theme of the Double and invest it with idiosyncratic meaning: Uno spirito in un lampone by Iginio Ugo Tarchetti (1867), Due anime in un corpo by Emilio de Marchi (1877) and Le storie del castello di Trezza by Giovanni Verga (1875). My reading of these texts draw on diverse psychoanalytic perspectives, namely those of Jung, Lacan and Abraham and Torok. In the third chapter, I carry out an extensive analysis of Fogazzaro’s Malombra. The first part of the analysis, which focuses on the novel’s two primary characters, Marina and Silla, shows how these characters’ unconscious conflicts animate the narrative, shape its itinerary and anchor it in a phantasmatic past; the second part examines the ways in which the primary aspects of the plot work in tension with, and are offset by, the novel’s two subplots; the third part looks at points of comparison between Malombra and the three texts discussed in the second chapter, both in relation to the theme of the Double and to more general literary signifiers.

While the majority of literature written in regard to artist Romaine Brooks has focused on her portraiture of cross-dressing women, I intend to focus on other aspects of her oeuvre which are often neglected. Therefore, I will examine works depicting women produced or exhibited by Brooks during the years 1910 and 1911 when her output was at its most varied. I have divided these works into four different categories: nudes, interior scenes, balcony scenes, and portraits. These paintings prove that while Brooks painted in a traditional fashion, she also subtly challenged the role of women in art and society.

Il existe deux grands groupes de théories sur la dimension politique de la psychanalyse, autrement dit sur la nature de son influence politique: certaines théories supposent qu'elle est un facteur de libération, de subversion sociale et politique, alors que d'autres, au contraire, aperçoivent en elle un facteur d'assujettissement. Il est possible d'approcher cette question à partir de l'étude du cas de Paul Goodman (1911-1972), un intellectuel étatsunien du XXe siècle qui s'inspira de la psychanalyse pour appréhender le monde politique. Nous abordons pour ce faire certains de ses textes (autant politiques que psychologiques), à partir de différentes méthodes (analyse textuelle et mise en contexte politique et linguistique), afin de comprendre et expliquer la manière dont Goodman abordait le monde politique à partir de théories psychanalytiques. L'utilisation que faisait Goodman de la psychanalyse fut changeante: dans les années 1942-1945, d'abord, il l'utilisait afin d'élaborer une théorie de la fausse conscience qui dans la situation de marginalité politique et sociale où il se trouvait alors lui permettait de s'expliquer le comportement, qu'il ne comprenait pas, de ses contemporains; en 1951, Goodman formula une remise en question incertaine et vite abandonnée de la psychanalyse; dans les années 1958-1972, enfin, il utilisa plutôt la psychanalyse afin de justifier l'élaboration d'une critique de la société étatsunienne à partir des idéaux et valeurs de cette même société. Il ressort de l'examen de ces utilisations que la psychanalyse autorise des usages politiques très variés et qu'elle est par le fait même beaucoup moins contraignante que ne le supposent la plupart des références traitant de sa dimension politique.
