Využití programu PHOTOMODELER v soudně inženýrské praxi / Use of PhotoModeler program in forensic engineering practice

Zdražilová, Alena January 2015 (has links)
The main task of this thesis is to find out dimensions of family house from photos and after that use this dimensions to create a 3D model. Another task is to create and then test optimal procedure of taking photographs of house for the purpose of work in PhotoModeler software and subsequent processing in Autocad. The result is a model that serves for creation of sections and taking measurements necessary for valuations of a family house. The optimum process should be a compromise of the simplest and the most accurate method of creating 3D models.

Vizualizace 3D scény pro ovládání robota / Visualization Environment for Robot Remote Control

Blahož, Vladimír January 2012 (has links)
This thesis presents possibilities of 3D point cloud and true colored digital video fusion that can be used in the process of robot teleoperation. Advantages of a 3D environment visualization combining more than one sensor data, tools to facilitate such data fusion, as well as two alternative practical implementations of combined data visualization are discussed. First proposed alternative estimates view frustum of the robot's camera and maps real colored video to a semi-transparent polygon placed in the view frustum. The second option is a direct coloring of the point cloud data creating a colored point cloud representing color as well as depth information about an environment.

Ligocki, Adam January 2017 (has links)

Šeptun, Roman January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with methods of edema measuring. In my work, I designed hardware and software solutions for a device reconstructing surface of the limb part. Purpose of my work is evaluating a discussing possibilities of this device. For making 3D reconstruction of scene from 2D images I chose reconstruction method Structure from motion. For acquisition of 2D images a device controlled by Arduino platform was constructed, the whole device is realized in program language Matlab. In the end of the thesis is described, how to improve the device for using in real conditions.

Evaluation of 3D dynamic effects induced by high-speed trains on double-track slab bridges

Thomas, Jossian, Arañó Barenys, Assís January 2016 (has links)
In addition to a static design, a dynamic analysis has to be performed for bridges for which the maximum permissible train speed exceeds 200 km/h. This analysis requires a lot of computing time, for this reason Svedholm and Andersson (2016) have developed a simple tool describing the relationship between the first eigenfrequency of the bridge, the span length and the minimum mass to fulfill the regulation specified in EN-1990. However, these diagrams are based on 2D beam models in which the 3D dynamic effects are not considered. An evaluation of the torsional modes has been performed by analyzing parametrized 3D bridge models, in order to obtain design diagrams including these effects. To do so, a frequency domain analysis has been implemented, based on a steadystate step previously performed in a FEM software. This approach provides a fast way to solve the equation of motion due to the Fourier transform properties, and allows applying several load configurations which are convenient for a parametric study. From this analysis it can be concluded that the thickness to fulfill the demands is larger for 3D models than for 2D. On one hand, contribution of torsional modes of vibration is more significant for the shortest span length, and on the other hand shear-lag effects lead to a reduction of the total resisting bending section.

Variable Resolution & Dimensional Mapping For 3d Model Optimization

Venezia, Joseph 01 January 2009 (has links)
Three-dimensional computer models, especially geospatial architectural data sets, can be visualized in the same way humans experience the world, providing a realistic, interactive experience. Scene familiarization, architectural analysis, scientific visualization, and many other applications would benefit from finely detailed, high resolution, 3D models. Automated methods to construct these 3D models traditionally has produced data sets that are often low fidelity or inaccurate; otherwise, they are initially highly detailed, but are very labor and time intensive to construct. Such data sets are often not practical for common real-time usage and are not easily updated. This thesis proposes Variable Resolution & Dimensional Mapping (VRDM), a methodology that has been developed to address some of the limitations of existing approaches to model construction from images. Key components of VRDM are texture palettes, which enable variable and ultra-high resolution images to be easily composited; texture features, which allow image features to integrated as image or geometry, and have the ability to modify the geometric model structure to add detail. These components support a primary VRDM objective of facilitating model refinement with additional data. This can be done until the desired fidelity is achieved as practical limits of infinite detail are approached. Texture Levels, the third component, enable real-time interaction with a very detailed model, along with the flexibility of having alternate pixel data for a given area of the model and this is achieved through extra dimensions. Together these techniques have been used to construct models that can contain GBs of imagery data.

Three-dimensional numerical model for wave-induced seabed response around mono-pile

Sui, T., Zhang, C., Guo, Yakun, Zheng, J.H., Jeng, D-S., Zhang, J.S., Zhang, W. 12 May 2015 (has links)
Yes / In this study, a new three-dimensional (3-D) model was developed to provide better understanding of the mechanism for wave-induced seabed response around mono-pile. Based on poro-elastic theory, the fully dynamic (FD) formulations were adopted in the present model to simulate pore water pressure, soil stresses, displacements of both soil and mono-pile. Good agreement between numerical simulation and experimental results was obtained. Based on parametric study, numerical results indicated: (1) wave diffraction and reflection have significant effects on pore water pressure and soil displacements around mono-pile; (2) the most sensitive position for seabed parameter to pore water pressure around mono-pile locates in front of mono-pile while the least sensitive position is at the position of angle 3π/4 with respect to the incident wave direction; and (3) the increase of mono-pile horizontal displacement corresponds to the increase of wave height and the decrease of seabed Young's modulus. / National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (51425901), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (51209082, 51379071, 41176073), the Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China (20120094120006, 20130094110014), the 111 project (B12032), the 333 project of Jiangsu Province (2013Ⅲ-1882)
