Nádražní hala / Railway station

The content of the diploma thesis is design and assessment of railway station steel structure. It is a two-nave building with a length of 198m. The bigger nave span is 40m and it is 14m high. The smaller nave is 11m high and its span is 25m. The total width of the structure is 65 meters. The main construction material is S355JR steel. The supporting structure of the hall is formed by a curved planar trusses with axial distance of 6 meters. The transverse direction also consists of column that bears two main trusses. The static analysis of the main bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details is processed. The calculation were made in accordance with the Czech technical norms CSN EN.

Sebekontrola žáků jako pedagogické téma: problematika měření pomocí sebehodnoticích dotazníků / Student self-control as an educational topic: the issue of measurement using self-report questionnaires

Self-control is a key non-cognitive skill, which is frequently measured using self-report questionnaires containing items with rating scales. Such data, however, can be hindered by the differences in scale usage among respondents. This may lead to erroneous conclusions when comparing different groups of respondents. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the differences in self-control among students from different Czech upper-secondary schools based on their (unadjusted) self-reports and self-reports adjusted for the differences in scale usage using the anchoring vignette method. The empirical part of the thesis comprises two studies. In the first (pilot) study, we translate a scale to measure self-control, create anchoring vignettes and focus on the verification of the method's basic assumptions using the data from questionnaires and interviews with students. In the second (main) study, we compare the (un-)adjusted self-reports of self-control and the assessment of the vignettes between students from the selected upper- secondary schools of a different type in Prague (N = 312). We found differences in evaluation standards between students from different types of schools. This dissertation deals with the use of the Anchoring Vignette Method in educational research carried out to establish the level of information and communication technology (ICT) knowledge and skills, with the focus on Czech upper-secondary school students. The theoretical part describes curricular documents that define the ICT knowledge and skills. In the Czech Republic that means mainly the Framework Educational Programmes. Attention is also paid to the international document DigComp. The Anchoring Vignette Method with the focus on nonparametric approach of this method is described in detail too. The author also provides an overview of available Czech and foreign bibliography on ICT knowledge and skills research - including the International Computer and Information Literacy (ICILS, 2013 and 2018) - and on the use of the Anchoring Vignette Method in educational research. Numerical analysis of the interaction between rockbolts and rock mass for coal mine drifts in Vietnam

The thesis describes the application of anchors in mining and tunneling and gives an up-to-date overview about anchor types, design principles and the interaction mechanisms between anchors and rockmass. A constitutive model was developed, implemented and tested for the 2- and 3-dimensional numerical codes FLAC and FLAC3D to simulate non-linear anchor behaviour including unloading and reloading. The interaction between rockbolts and rockmass was studied in detail via numerical simulations for 5 Vietnamese coal mines. An extended version of the so-called c-Φ reduction method and a new introduced reinforcement factor were applied to quantify the effect of bolting. Mine specific and generalised relations were deduced to quantify the influence of anchor length and distance between anchors on the effect of bolting.

Berechnungsalgorithmus zur Bestimmung der Verankerungslänge der textilen Bewehrung in der Feinbetonmatrix

Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der experimentellen und analytischen Bestimmung der Verankerungslängen textiler Bewehrungsstrukturen einer Textilbetonverstärkungsschicht. Die experimentelle Untersuchung des Verbundverhaltens erfolgte anhand von Pull-Out-Versuchen. Die analytische Betrachtung des Verbundproblems geschieht aufbauend auf multilinearen Lösungen der Verbunddifferentialgleichung anhand der experimentell ermittelten Kraft- Rissöffnungs-Beziehungen. Mit Hilfe eines separaten Modells wird aus der so ermittelten Verbundspannungs-Schlupf-Beziehung (VSB) die zur Verankerung einer entsprechenden Kraft F erforderliche Verankerungslänge lE bestimmt. Die Überprüfung der Berechnung erfolgt anhand von unabhängig in experimentellen Versuchen zur Bestimmung der Verankerungslänge ermittelten Werten. Es konnte eine gute Übereinstimmung der berechneten mit den versuchstechnisch bestimmten Verankerungslängen festgestellt werden.
