Παπαβασιλείου, Ευγενία 04 October 2011 (has links)
This thesis describes the vision of I centric communications. The main objective of this thesis is to focus on the various aspects of I centric communications. The communication behaviour of human beings is characterized by frequent interactions with a set of objects in their environement. The set of objects, controlled by each individual, define its individual communication space. The approach of I centric communications is to build communication systems not based on specific technologies, but on the analysis of the individual communication space. The result is a communication system that adapts to the specific demands of each individual. Such a system will act on behalf of human’s demands, reflecting recent actions to enable profiling and self adaptation. I centric Services adapt to individual communication spaces and situations. A suitable technology for such communication systems is UPnP technology, which is a new architecture for pervasive peer-to-peer connectivity of intelligent appliances, wireless devices and PCs. UPnP technology provides a distributed, open networking architecture that enables TCP/IP and Web technologies to provide seamless proximity networking in addition to control and data transfer among networked devices. Furthermore, a procedure of allocating network addresses is described during the entry of a device in the network. After acquiring an IP address, the dynamic host has to discover the address of at least one operational router on its directly attached subnet so that they are capable of sending IP datagrams in that subnet. In conclusion, the way by which network nodes, such as hosts and routers, report their IP multicast group memberships to any neighboring multicast routers, is described.

Adaptation de méthodes d’évaluation dans le cadre de la conception d’une application numérique pour un jeune public avec troubles du spectre autistique : étude au cours de la conception et de l'évaluation de l’application çATED au sein d'une ULIS TED / Adaptation of evaluation methods in the design of a digital application for a young audience with autism spectrum disorders : Study during the conception and during the evaluation of the application çATED within an ULIS TED

Guffroy, Marine 07 April 2017 (has links)
Taking into account the specificities of the target audience and the contexts of use of an interactive application imply to question the generally recommended methodological principles for computer application design and evaluation. In the case of the creation of a tool dedicated to a young audience with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), communication difficulties and alterations in their social interactions prevent the implementation of an "ordinary", user-centered design methodology. Beyond the consideration of the established potential offered by digital technology for young people with ASD, it is a question of identifying and implementing the methods and techniques useful in order to evaluate the proposed prototypes, taking into account the characteristics of the public and its everyday context in school structure. The research presented in this thesis belong to the field of human-machine interactions (HMI). It questions the methodological principles of user-centered design: How to meet evaluation objectives when verbal communication is not guaranteed? What role for the target user in the design-evaluation cycle? What are the roles for the human and specialized relatives? How to observe and analyze the use of tablet software in the daily context of the target audience?More specifically, the research concerns the adaptation of ordinary methods of evaluation to the specific characteristics and behaviors of an extraordinary audience.

Koshima, Fernando Akira Takada. January 2009 (has links)
The objective of this work was to evaluate the parameters of stability and adaptability of eight Elite inbred lines of maize (six used as female and two used as male in single crosses of commercial and experimental hybrids) in eight environments by EBERHART & RUSSELL's method. The environments were characterized by two locations, two planting dates (September and October) and two systems of soil tillage (no till and tillage). The experimental design used was a complete randomized block with four replications. It was observed the characters of grain yield (kg ha-1), weight of thousands kernels, yield of sixty thousand kernels bag ha-1, plant height, ear height and ear length. It was evidenced significant effects for inbred lines, environments and inbred lines x environment interaction for all traits evaluated. It was observed that all inbred lines showed unstable behaviour. In general, there was a higher grain yield in environment of Rolândia, planted in September in no till system. The environment with the highest grain yield, not necessarily is the environment with highest yield of 60 thousand kernels bags ha-1. Environments of Barretos showed conditions to increasing the parameters of plant height and ear height. Three of eight inbred lines showed an adaptability to unfavorable environments, while other inbred lines showed an adaptability to favorable environments. Only two inbred lines showed the coefficient of determination above 80%. In general, the inbred line 8-F had the fourth highest grain yield (2675.3 kg ha-1) and ...
