The thesis deals with the theme of children's rights and knowledge of young people in the South Bohemia region, concretely near the city of Tábor (Soběslav, Sezimovo Ústí II.). There are three main objectives of the thesis. The first one was to find out what is the level of knowledge on the rights of children as stated in "Convention on the Rights of the Child" of young people in the South Bohemia region, concretely near the city of Tábor (Soběslav, Sezimovo Ústí II.). The second objective was focused on what areas of life is the identified knowledge of adolescents exercised in; speaking about the young people in the South Bohemia region, concretely near the city of Tábor (Soběslav, Sezimovo Ústí II.). As a result of the data collected the third objective was set and it was meant to verify whether the intervention programme, which was created to improve the knowledge of the adolescents questioned, was successful. After completing studies of literature on the theme, a random selection of respondents was specified. These were pupils of 9th forms of elementary schools and students of 1st year of high school in the South Bohemia region, concretely from the city of Tábor and its surroundings (Soběslav, Sezimovo Ústí II.). The data collection was conducted in the form of a questionnaire. From the obtained data the conclusions necessary to verify the set objectives were drawn. The results were compared between girls and boys. Subsequently, they were compared with the results of the intervention programme, which was drawn up after the collection of the data using the basic questionnaire. The purpose of this program was to increase the knowledge of young people. Both of these results were compared to the research from the year 2010, which formed the basis for the designing of the questionaire and the objectives of the thesis.

Religião e religiosidade na pós-modernidadeSigolf Greuel 01 August 2008 (has links)
A primeira parte procura
A segunda parte
A terceira parte
Catarinense, contexto desta pesquisa. / The objective of this Dissertation is to research the dimension that Pos Modernity Paradigms
influence the articulation between Religion and Religiosity, and to seek ways to a pastoral
action with Adolescent and Youth in this context. The first part of this work tries to
understand the characteristics in the historic moment that we live. Being result of a historical
evaluation, Pos-Modernity comes from Enlightenment Modernity that has placed the human
being at the center, as reason and measure of every thing. In this way, it proposes a new daily
routine, with a new configuration of subjects, essentially individualistic and narcissistic,
intensely determined for the market economy. The emptying of the social, produced for it,
results in a peculiar articulation in human relationships. The second part verifies that Religion,
relegated by the Enlightenment to an absolutely secondary dimension, rises again powerfully,
in a large variety of expressions. It works as any Religiosity of personal arrangement, as a
result of the disillusion with Pos Modernity, where subjects seek for a transformation in their
individuality and a reason to exist. For having been created from the Pos Modernity, Religion
runs the risk of assuming an alienating manner in its determinants, becoming anthropocentric,
fundamentalist, and a mere product of the neo-liberal market. The third part analyses the
difficulty in articulating a pastoral action with Adolescents and Youths in these days, although
we can see clearly that Religion is present is their imaginary. Even though that, we articulate
some reflexions in order to show that it is possible to proportionate to the Adolescent and
Youth a privileged place where they can have a meeting with theirselves, with another one,
and with the sacred. This experience can be essential for the construction of their identity and
for the seeking of their existing reason. This work also presents some principles that were
considered important to an action with Adolescents and Youths: The principles of Open Door,
Open Mind, Open Heart, Open Bible and Open Hand, inspired in the practice of Jesus and
extracted from his meeting with an young man. We conclude with a description of some
experiences in the work with Adolescents and Youths at the communities of the Center-South
Catarinense Synod, context of this research.

Longitudinal influences of parental relationships on positive adolescent functioningSparks, Rebekah Buckley 13 August 2024 (has links) (PDF)
This dissertation examines the longitudinal influences of parental relationships – romantic, co-parenting, and parent-child – on positive adolescent functioning. Utilizing data from the Future of Families and Child Wellbeing Study, this study investigates how various dimensions of parental relationships impact adolescent well-being at age 15, as measured by the EPOCH scale. Grounded in Attachment Theory and the Life Course Perspective, this research highlights the interconnectedness of early parental interactions and their long-term effects on adolescents’ emotional and social development. Key findings indicate that supportive and stable parental relationships significantly enhance adolescents’ engagement, perseverance, optimism, connectedness, and happiness. The study emphasizes the critical role of early family dynamics in shaping positive developmental trajectories and offers insights for interventions aimed at fostering resilient and well-adjusted adolescents. These findings underscore the importance of promoting healthy parental relationships to support adolescents’ overall well-being and successful transition into adulthood.

Význam hudby ve volném čase středoškolské mládeže v Jihočeském kraji / Meaning of music in the leisure time of high school students in the South Bohemia regionHŘÍBALOVÁ, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The main subject of my thesis is to investigate the importance of music as a leisure time activity among the high school students in South Bohemia. In the theoretical part my primary attention has been paid on music functions, the influence of music on the body and psyche, history of musical styles, music division and music subcultures. Subsequently I defined the term "adolescent" and clarified evolution specifics of this period in terms of physical and psychological changes. Then I described the concept of leisure time and characterized function, history and attitude of young people to leisure time activities. Based on the results of former researches I described the relationship of teen agers with music, role that music plays in the lives of adolescents and what are general attitudes of today's young people towards music. In the practical part I analyzed the results of my questionnaire survey, when I contacted high school students in South Bohemia and examined their relationship with music, listening frequency, musical tastes, periodicity of listening, etc.
