Lima Metropolitana es una ciudad con alta contaminación sonora que invade los hogares, se suma al ruido doméstico y genera un ambiente bullicioso. Para los adultos mayores que padecen de una pérdida parcial o total de audición, denominada hipoacusia, resulta imposible discriminar el ruido lo que dificulta su comunicación y genera repercusiones emocionales. Los audífonos parecen ser la solución, pero algunos no filtran el ruido y los que sí lo hacen son muy costosos. El acondicionamiento acústico del espacio, en cambio, disminuye el ruido lo que mejora la comunicación. Existen soluciones como paneles acústicos para mejorar estas condiciones, pero son principalmente para espacios públicos, no son diseñadas para hogares y adultos mayores. Hay una carencia de productos inclusivos que se integren al hogar del adulto mayor y sus necesidades. Para resolver el problema, se busca diseñar el mobiliario acústico dentro del contexto. Como métodos de estudio se utilizaron entrevistas, revisión documental y validaciones para recopilar información y luego analizarla. Este proyecto, realizado en pandemia, propone un sistema modular acústico inclusivo personalizable, que se adapte al estilo de vida, hábitos y contexto del adulto mayor. Como resultado, esta propuesta está lista para ser utilizada, es una alternativa que permite mejorar la comunicación y calidad de vida de los adultos mayores. / Lima is a city with high noise pollution, that added to indoor noises, creates a deafening environment. For older people with hearing problems, either partial or total, it is almost impossible to distinguish sounds which complicates communication and could lead to emotional issues. Hearing aids appear to be the solution, but often they don’t help to filter noise and if they do, they are too expensive. On the opposite, acoustic conditioning methods help diminish noise pollution and increase communication. Solutions like acoustic panels lower the noise and give better living conditions. The downside is that usually they are used in public spaces instead of focusing on homes and the elderly. It is lacking a product that integrates to homes and is inclusive with the elderly. To solve this issue, the objective is to combine acoustic furniture with the context. As research methods they were used interviews, documentation and validations to gather information and analyze it. This project, developed during the pandemic, proposes a modular customizable acoustic inclusive system that adapts to the lifestyle, habits and context of the elderly. As a result, this approach is ready to use; it is an alternative that improves communication and quality of life of the elderly.

La tercera edad es la etapa en la que el ser humano busca como fin alcanzar una armonía que, en ocasiones, no se logra. Entre la rutina diaria de la familia, que la aleja de él, se genera una situación que pone en riesgo lograr dicho fin; o, incluso poniendo en riesgo su salud física y mental. El Perú no es ajeno a esto; por ello, esta investigación busca proponer una solución innovadora, disruptiva y sostenible cuyo fin es el de mejorar la vida del adulto mayor en Lima Metropolitana. Es innovadora ya que conectará a personas que necesitan compañía con otras que disponen de tiempo. Por otro lado, es disruptiva puesto que utiliza plataformas digitales; y, finalmente, es sostenible porque generará trabajo autónomo y con un target perenne. Para lograr la propuesta, se usó el modelo Design Thinking para plantear soluciones que ayuden a mitigar este problema que permitan proponer un producto al mercado. Para ello, la inversión requerida es menor a S/160,000 y traerá un retorno cercano a S/335,000 en un horizonte de cinco años, así como una TIR de 15.9%, lo que hace de esta propuesta viable para concretarla en el menor tiempo posible. La estructura de esta investigación consta de cuatro partes: La primera enfoca el contexto y la descripción del problema. La segunda aborda los principales aportes de la literatura consultada. En la tercera, se desarrolla el planteamiento de la solución; y, finalmente, se muestran las conclusiones y planteamiento de recomendaciones a la investigación. / The third age is the stage in which the human being seeks to achieve a harmony that, sometimes, is not achieved. Peru is no stranger to this; Therefore, this research seeks to propose an innovative, disruptive and sustainable solution whose purpose is to improve the life of the elderly in Metropolitan Lima. It is innovative as it will connect people who need company with others who have time. On the other hand, it is disruptive since it uses digital platforms; and, finally, it is sustainable because it will generate autonomous work with a perennial target. To achieve the proposal, the Design Thinking model was used to propose solutions that help mitigate this problem that allow proposing a product to the market. For this, the investment required is less than S/ 160,000 and will bring a return close to S/ 335,000 in a five-year horizon, as well as an IRR of 15.9%, which makes this proposal viable to be completed in the shortest time. possible. The structure of this research consists of four parts: The first focuses on the context and description of the problem. The second addresses the main contributions of the literature consulted. In the third, the solution approach is developed; and, finally, the conclusions and proposal of recommendations for the investigation are shown.
