Digital Airsoftstyrning : DAC Mark.I

Bengtsson, Petter January 2014 (has links)
The Airsoft Community always search for realism and optimal performance. When the performance and/or the realism in your AEG1 aren’t enough you turn to modifications toimprove the weapon. But to manufacture such modifications isn’t that easy, hence you turn tocompanies that are specialized in creating such devices. The goal with this project is to create a prototype of a modification called “Programmable MOSFET”and targets optimization of the electrical components within the AEG. This means that you digitalizethe control of your AEG thus entails new functions and more stability to the system that isn’t possiblewith its mechanical predecessor.A prototype has been manufactured and programmed with functions according to requirementspecificationsthen it was tested on an airsoft-gearbox with rewarding results. The resulting prototypeis used as the basis for a final product that it is possible to base a business on.

Utveckling av Androidapplikation för airsoft

Sticko, Simon, Arfwedson, Viktor, Hallström Mayrhofer, Love January 2011 (has links)
An Android-application that is intended to be used during airsoftgames (a gamesimilar to paintball) has been developed. In this application, which is called TactiX,players can join different teams and see their team members on a map. Through theapplication players can interact with one another in a variety of ways. They can send text messages, give orders and send drawings to each other. Players can also make observations of enemy players on the map. The application has been developed as athesis work at a bachelor of science level at Sweden Connectivity in Kista. Both theapplication and the server communication software have been developed.

Design and Construction of an Autonomous Sentry Turret Utilising Computer Vision / Design och konstruktion av ett autonomt vakttorn nyttjande datorseende

Bermhed, Carl, Holst, Jacob January 2023 (has links)
The design and manufacture of a sentry gun turret capable of accurately and rapidly tracking and shooting moving targets was a challenging task that required delving into various engineering disciplines. This bachelor's thesis explores this challenge by presenting the process of construction, as well as the performance results of a turret created using a combination of 3D printing, laser cutting, and metal workshop manufacturing. The subject was chosen to include different aspects of the engineering fields relating to mechatronics, and for the challenge of implementing and designing multiple systems that interconnect to effectively engage with a target. The turret was created as a two-axis robot driven by stepper motors, with a gun driven by compressed air firing 6 mm plastic airsoft pellets using a clocked timing mechanism for rapid automatic firing. It was controlled by a system separated into two parts: a PC running facial recognition and colour identification software as well as performing movement calculations through python and an Arduino micro-computer running C++ controlling stepper motors and other hardware. The turret can accurately identify a target within five meters and with great speed home in and fire at the target with significant power.

Podniesinski, Bartosz January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this study is to examine the transformation of war into play in the context of the hobby called wargaming. The main focus is around Military Simulations (Milsims) using so called airsoft guns, and the miniature game-rules called Force on Force. It also studies how participants create a common understanding of the plays content, and how conceptions of modern conflicts, soldiers and the traumatizing effects of war are perceived and mirrored in wargaming. The investigation is based on interviews with airsoft and figure gamers, as well as an analysis of rulebooks and observations of said wargames. The theoretical frame is Gregory Batesons play frames (as used by Lotten Gustafsson), discourse theory and Actor-Network-theory, showing the importance of human and material interactions – articulations - within the context of playing. This investigation also relies heavily on the conclusions regarding Wargaming made by P.A.G. Sabin. Using meta-communication and performance, participants create the play frame where their conceptions of modern warfare are played out. Physical objects are an important part of the play frame, affecting the performance of the participants. The study also shows how common prejudices, like the portrait of an irrational and bloodthirsty Muslim, prevail. Women are welcomed to join these male dominated games, but are strongly feminized, making it difficult to enter on even terms. The study concludes that the articulations used to transfer war into game reflect the participants apprehensions of gender, culture, anti-heroes and the military; even though wargamers themselves see their play as being relatively distanced from the ”real” worlds opinions and conceptions.

Nyström, Olof, Pettersson, Caroline January 2007 (has links)
<p>By today’s date there are a lot of companies that are in great need of restructuring their paperwork in a more organized way. This can be excellent arranged with the help of properly constructed computer software. The aviation industry is no exception, but actually a good example of this. Täby Air Maintenance (TAM) is a company which is situated in Örebro. Their main business is aircraft maintenance on a variety of aircraft models. TAM has so far handled their work by hand or with the help of a majority of small computer programmes. The information has now become too abundant and the different kinds of software being used are no longer a working tool for the company. There is therefore a demand for an exhaustive programme which has the capacity to take care of all parts in logistics and production. The purpose is to examine and evaluate three different makes of software and form a recommendation to TAM of which one suits their needs the best. The software was Airsoft, MX System and System Airline Management (SAM). The evaluation has been performed with the help of demo versions of the programmes, manuals and support from contacts at the different manufacturers. The programmes were initially dealt with one at a time and then compared towards each other and towards the demands from TAM. The software which in the end was recommended was SAM, and the decision was based on a number of reasons. The main reason was the user friendliness of the software - the fact that its logical structure makes it easy for its user to swiftly understand the concept and thus learn how to use it quickly. This results in profits, both in time and money.</p> / <p>Idag är många företag i trängande behov av att strukturera upp sitt pappersarbete på ett mer ordnat sätt.
