Utveckling av applikation till plattformen Android / Development of application for the Android platform

Bäärnhielm, Arvid January 2015 (has links)

Johansson, Kristian January 2014 (has links)

A Smartphone-based System for Clinical Gait Assessment

Perez Leon, Andres Alfredo 30 June 2016 (has links)
Patients with lower limbs problems are an increasing population in the US and many of them require surgery and its subsequent post-op Physical Therapy (PT). For all these patients, tracking their progress and evolution towards full recovery is very important. To assess the patients and track their progress, patients are usually required to perform very specific tests administered by a physical therapist. These tests either require very expensive equipment or rather require the subjective experience of the physical therapist who administer them. One of these tests is the Functional Gait Assessment (FGA) test, perhaps the most widely adopted one for gait assessment. This thesis presents a system for Clinical Gait Assessment using exclusively the sensors embedded in today’s smartphones. The system processes the raw sensor data to perform the FGA test and calculate additional metrics, capable of identifying problems in the human gait. The system is therefore objective, as it is based on measurements; cheap, as it only requires a smartphone; mobile, as it can be used pretty much anywhere; and self-care, as it does not need the presence of a physical therapist. The system was designed and tested on the Android OS with the phone attached to the back of the user using a belt or elastic band. It includes a new step detection algorithm with a mean absolute error of ±1 and algorithms to detect the deviation from a straight path with an accuracy of 90%, 80%, 35%, and 30% for each of the required deviation levels of the FGA test. Additionally, the system includes autocorrelation and DTW metrics, which provide additional information to detect different impediments of the user gait.

Minimum Euclidean Distance Algorithm for Indoor WiFi Received Signal Strength (RSS) Fingerprinting

Zegeye, Wondimu K., Amsalu, Seifemichael B. 11 1900 (has links)
While WiFi-based indoor localization is attractive, the need for a significant degree of pre-deployment effort is a key challenge. In this paper, indoor localization with no pre-deployment effort in an indoor space, such as an office building corridor, with WiFi coverage but no apriori knowledge of the placement of the access points(APs) is implemented for mobile devices. WiFi Received Signal Strength(RSS) in the considered environment is used to build radio maps using WiFi fingerprinting approach. Two architectures are developed based on this localization algorithm. The first one involves a client-server approach where the localization algorithm runs on the server whereas the second one is a standalone architecture and the algorithm runs on the SD card of the mobile device.

Převod desktopové aplikace v jazyce Java na tabletovou aplikaci na platformě Android / Converting Java desktop application into Android mobile application

Sečkár, Alois January 2016 (has links)
The thesis focus on conversion existing desktop Java application into mobile version for Android platform. The key part of the thesis is the sample application (Java app for teaching basics of OOP in Java), that is being converted step-by-step from Java to Android. During the migration process, significant differences are being identified, described and solved.

Vývoj aplikace demonstrující zranitelnosti mobilních aplikací / Implementation of application that demonstrates mobile application vulnerabilities

Šrůtková, Karolína January 2021 (has links)
This master thesis is focused on an implementation of application for Android operating system that demonstrates mobile application vulnerabilities. Theoretical part contains security of mobile applications and its current state including a description of the biggest security risks and vulnerabilities. In addition, general development of mobile applications for Android is mentioned. In a practical part of the thesis a custom design of the application is described including vulnerabilities analysis, design of basic application blocks and selection of suitable tools for implementation. The section describing the implementation of the application describes the preparation of the environment, the structure of the created application and especially its implementation. The last part contains an example of implemented application vulnerabilities and also the result of its testing.

Mobilní aplikace pro anonymní komunikaci / Mobile application for anonymous communication

Krajanec, Štefan January 2021 (has links)
Instant messaging applications noted significant grow especially in the last decade. In fact, the Internet communication is cheap and convenient way how to communicate with distant people. However, this grow of user communication and data exchange through the online world impacts user security and privacy, as it was also shown recently by WhatsApp privacy issues. Firstly this article evaluates security and privacy issues of current mobile messaging applications. Secondly, we design our basic open source solution with the focus on security, privacy, and user centric features. Furthermore, we provide proof-of-concept implementation of our system
