Tlustovrstvá topná deska s regulací výkonu / Hot plate with power regulation

Lacika, Marek January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with issues of used hot plates and thick-film technology. The theoretical part of diploma thesis contains a theoretical analysis and description of corresponding technology and usage of materials. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the design of the resulting device, which forms design of the test and optimized hot element, the initial design of the device and the design of models for temperature simulations. Then follows description of the practical realization of the motifs and testing of the created thick-film structure on a ceramic substrate. In the last part are shown simulations of heat transfer in the proposed model of the device.

Vstupní recirkulace u odstředivého čerpadla / Inlet recirculation of centrifugal pump

Heinz, Pavel January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon appearing in hydrodynamic pumps at the sub-optimal flow rate. This phenomenon is inlet recirculation, which is an undesirable phenomenon in the suction of the pump. This recirculation causes cavitation, pressure pulsations and may cause clogging of the suction line. The main goal of the diploma thesis is CFD simulation for the recirculation mode, identification of the flow phenomena, and designs of possible measures to suppress inlet recirculation.

Srovnání hemisferické a kónické jamky u totální náhrady trapéziometakarpálního kloubu / Comparison of hemispheric and conical cup in the total trapeziometacarpal joint replacement

Kukučka, Ivan January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of total replacement of a trapeziometacarpal joint with a hemispherical cup and replacement of the same joint with a conical cup. In both cases of implants, these are types of replacements with dual mobility. The focus of the diploma thesis is the comparison of the transfer of forces from the head of the prosthesis to the trapezius bone through the different shape of the cup. The work was processed using computer software ANSYS Workbench 19.3.

CFD analýza tepelného zatížení trubkovnice / CFD analysis of thermal stress of a tubesheet

Vince, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the phenomena of multiphase flow in a steam generator as a one of probable causes of tubes and tubesheet weld cracking. In the first part of the work, a research was carried out focusing on the boiling and the phenomenon of two-phase flow in technical applications, its characteristics and properties. The thesis continuous with an overview of available numerical multiphase models in the ANSYS Fluent 2021 R1 and a research of previously published works focused on two-phase flow with the presence of boiling. The research is followed by a description of the particular boiler, which is part of the nitric acid production plant in the chemical company DUSLO, a.s., its operating conditions and a more detailed description of the issue that is being addressed in this thesis. The second part of the work continuous with a description of the computational model, including a description of the geometry of the model and used simplifications, the computational mesh and the description of boundary conditions. Important part is the description of calculation setting of steady-state and transient CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent. Finally, the results of the two-phase flow calculation are presented and then discussed in the conclusions.

Aerodynamic Performance Analysis of a UAV using CFD and VLM

Trumic, Edin, Swamy, Kevin Savio January 2021 (has links)
Computational Fluid Dynamics has become a versatile product development tool, bringing many advantages to the conceptual design phase of products, and is being used for a wide variety of applications. In this thesis, the aerodynamics of a UAV with internal radar has been investigated. UAV is an acronym for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, that is an aircraft which is flown with no human pilot onboard the aircraft, maneuvering the flight controls. The studies conducted throughout this thesis aimed at conducting numerical simulations of two UAV wing designs, through the utilization of the Vortex Lattice Method and Computational Fluid Dynamics. A number of different flight cases were investigated for comparing the two wing designs with respect to their aerodynamic characteristics, as well as a sustained turn analysis for the second UAV wing design. The analyses were conducted by importing provided UAV CAD-models into the numerical software, setting up appropriate grids, and running the simulations at the flight cases of interest. The results gathered from the simulations concerning the first wing design demonstrated favorable flight characteristics at lower angles of attack, although at angles of attack greater than 5°, flow separation was apparent. Regarding the results concerning the second wing design, it could be flown at greater angles of attack without experiencing flow separation, while decreasing the total drag of the UAV. For the sustained turn analysis concerning the second wing design, the aircraft generated sufficient lift at desired load factors, for maintaining its altitude however, it could not reach a trimmed state despite larger deflection angles of the ruddervators. Therefore the center of gravity position of the UAV was manipulated for sustaining the turns at desired load factors. Pressure contour plots were generated from the CFD simulations from which it could be determined that the front and nose of the aircraft could be further redesigned for decreasing aerodynamic drag.

Modelování vlastností EC motoru / Physical Fields Modelling of EC Motor's

Kružík, Pavel January 2008 (has links)
This thesis concludes a description of construction and functions of Electronically commutated motors. The main target is modelling of thermal field of Electronically commutated motors. For modelling was chosen Ansys Workbench setting with CAD geometry. There was a measurement for verifying result of simulation, and its proof is described in my thesis. This project also concludes comparison of results from simulation itself and results obtained from measuring thermal profile of EC motor.

Klauda, Zbyněk January 2008 (has links)
My thesis deals with project of LVDS busbar with high resistivity with regard to disturbance from surroundings and radiation undesirable electromagnetic waves into its environment. Project of LVDS busbar was elaborated by numeric methods and it was suggested optimal solution of the shape and material of multiply technology DPS. The project was realized on desired driving-point impenance of busbar Z=100 ohm with frequency f1=100 MHz of the first harmonic component rectangular signal of defind modality, entering and diagonal edge.

Využití prostředí ANSYS Workbench pro teplotní výpočty elektrických strojů / Utilization of adaptive CAD systems at virtual model creation of electrical motors

Sedláčková, Petra January 2010 (has links)
Thermal analysis of electric machine is one of the key steps in design procedure. Traditionally, thermal calculations are done by analytical method, mostly based on equivalent electrical circuit, where thermal quantities are replaced by equivalent electrical quantities. These methods employ so-called electro thermal analogy. Different approach is to use Finite Element Method, which is the main goal of this thesis. First part of the thesis is devoted to description of CAD system Autodesk Inventor, which is modern parametric CAD for modelling of virtual prototypes. This system is then used for creation of three dimensional model of brushless DC machine. Second part is focused on thermal calculations in Ansys Workbench environment. Model of brushless DC machine created in Inventor is transferred into Ansys Workbench and thermal analysis is carried out.
