The research was carried through in the city of São Paulo, having considered the important influence that this possesses in the Brazilian musical scene, and the shelter of deriving people of innumerable places of the country, that make of this a show window of diversities. In this way, we present the historical trajectory of three young adults who had had its lives mediated for the art, and by means of this relation they had made its history, they had transited for the social spaces and of them if they had appropriated, they created forms of sociabilities and, in the search of its autonomy, they had resisted the obstacles and challenges ranks for the reality of the daily life and if ~ they had constituted while citizens politicians claimants of rights. By means of the methodology of thematic verbal history, it was possible to carry through a dialogue with the proper citizens of the research, that had elucidated significantly arrive in port it theoretical based and had answered to the content of all the dissertation / A presente dissertação analisa a relação entre arte e trabalho enquanto mediadora na trajetória de vida de jovens, com o objetivo de conhecer os significados e a autonomia alcançada por eles. A pesquisa foi realizada na cidade de São Paulo, pela importante influência que essa capital possui no cenário musical brasileiro, que por acolher pessoas oriundas de inúmeros lugares do Pais, a torna uma vitrine de diversidades. Neste caminho, apresentamos a trajetória de três jovens adultos que tiveram suas vidas mediadas pela arte, e que, por meio dessa relação, fizeram sua história, transitaram pelos espaços sociais e deles se apropriaram, criaram formas de sociabilidade e, na busca de sua autonomia, ultrapassaram obstáculos e desafios postos pela realidade da vida cotidiana e se constituíram enquanto sujeitos políticos reivindicadores de cidadania. Por meio da metodologia da história oral temática, foi possível realizar um diálogo com os próprios sujeitos da pesquisa, que elucidaram significativamente o aporte teórico embasado e, por isso, seus dizeres permeiam significativamente o conteúdo de toda a dissertação
