Cinema and Comics are both contemporary visual languages. Their origins and development are continuosly linked together, inter-related, influencing - one each other – the course of its evolution in the art of create an own language. The Hollywoodian cinema has its Mark impressed in the cinema evolution history, and his techniques and innovation – even most of them leaded by commecial interests more than artistic inspiration – helped a lot to bring cinema to its actual situation. The american comic books – so recent in entertainment industry as cinema – start your path in adventure and fiction, narrowing in genre untill became synonimous of super-heroes, with his greatest icon – the first super-hero ever: “Superman”. O cinema Hollywoodiano tem sua marca registrada na história da evolução do cinema, e suas técnicas e inovações - mesmo que muitas vezes incentivadas mais pela indústria e retorno comercial do que pela inspiração artística – ajudaram em muito a levar o cinema mundial na posição que se encontra hoje. Os quadrinhos americanos - tão recentes na indústria de entretenimento quanto o cinema - começaram na aventura e ficção e se estreitaram em gênero até se transformarem em sinônimo de super-heróis, tendo como ícone maior o primeiro de todos: “Super-Homem”.
