The master’s thesis introduces concrete practical example of creation and maintenance of new generation web portal. Description of usage in marketing and business point of view. This plan also contains concepts of company structure and plan of company expansion in three years term. Parts of the document are estimations of portal and company costs and also estimations of revenues. Výstupem práce je sada doporučení a návrhů na změny v existujících procesech. Vybrané návrhy budou v prostředí firmy implementovány a práce zahrne zhodnocení výsledků po zavedení těchto změn.

This thesis explores the business environment Fonetip s.r.o. and its business area. The key is the analysis of information systems, data security, IT equipment and internal processes. On the basis of being selected ERP system, including implementation plan and costing. Mentioned are the risks of changes on the possibility of elimination.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the information system of translation agency NK Translators s.r.o. Furthermore, changes and functionality extensions should be proposed in order to improve the existing system and subsequently these proposals should be implemented and embedded into the system of the company. The agency uses this information system for the registration of customers and freelance translators and mainly for the project management (the term project means a translation job, a proofreading or an interpretation). Up until now, the agency has been operating with the first version of this system that has been in use for three years. Currently, the emphasis is put on both user-friendly interface and process automatisation so the expansion of the information system represents a significant potential for an effective way of running business. The system is programmed as a web application and mainly uses technologies such as PHP, HTML and JavaScript.

Im Gegensatz zur praktischen Relevanz werden Prozessstandardisierungen in der Wissenschaft aktuell jedoch nur sehr fragmentiert betrachtet. Auf Basis einer systemtheoretischen Perspektive wird ein ganzheitlicher Ansatz zur Standardisierung von Geschäftsprozessen entwickelt, um auf diese Weise Organisationen in die Lage zu versetzen, von den Vorteilen einer Prozessstandardisierung vollständig profitieren zu können und somit ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu stärken.

Today’s global markets demand global processes. Increasingly, these processes are not only distributed, but also contain mobile aspects. We discuss two challenges brought about by these mobile business processes: Firstly, the need to specify the distribution of processes across several sites, and secondly, the need to specify the dialog flows of the applications implementing those processes on mobile devices. To remedy the first challenge, we give an overview of the Process Landscaping method with its support for refining processes across multiple abstraction layers and associating their activities and objects with distinguished locations. Next, we present a Dialog Flow Notation and Dialog Control Framework for the specification and management of complex hypertext-based dialog flows. These tools allow developers to build user interfaces for mobile client devices with different input/output capabilities, which all access the same application logic on a central server.
