Kriminalistická balistika / Forensic ballistics

Papírníková, Lenka January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the basic information about the forensic ballistics and about the procedure of ballistic experts. The first chapter is dedicated to clarification the fundamental terms of the subject matter of this thesis. Beside the term of forensic ballistics I also introduce the meaning of some other related terms used in the following text. Next chapter deals with the history and development of the ballistics. The key feature of every ballistic researches are the ballistics marks described in the third chapter. I focus on the ballistic marks division, the origin and occurrence and receiving of these. The gunshot residues are mentioned in their own subchapter. The objects of the ballistic researches, listed in the chapter four, are firearms, ammunition and animate or inanimate target. Next chapter deals with the range of ballistic researches which can be divided into two groups. Within the frame of the identification examination of firearms and ammunition, the individual and group identification of the gun used in a criminal offence is performed. That means the ballistic marks from the seized firearm are compared with the ones detected in a crime scene. Within the frame of the non- identification examination the firearms and ammunition characteristics, the shooting direction,...

Kriminalistická balistika / Forensic ballistics

Bohoněk, Miloš January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to provide a general introduction to the field of forensic ballistics. The thesis is based on the analysis and comparison of numerous Czech and international monographies and articles, as well as on findings derived from a supervised visit to the Institute of Criminalistics Prague. As such, it provides a compact and up-to-date overview of forensic ballistics in the Czech Republic. The thesis is composed of eight chapters followed by a bibliography, an abstract and keywords. Chapter One is introductory and lays out the purpose of the thesis, the goals and the methods used. Chapter Two takes a closer look at the history and evolution of forensic ballistics, both abroad and in Czechoslovakia. Chapter Three answers the question "What is forensic ballistics?" in detail. It contains a definition of forensic ballistics and provides a reader with information about the main purpose of forensic ballistics. Chapters Four to Six are the core of the thesis. Chapter four deals with the objects examined by the forensic ballistics and is therefore subdivided into four parts, addressing each object separately: firearms, ammunition, objects struck by a bullet, and further material and immaterial objects. Chapter Five concentrates on ballistic marks and as such is subdivided into five...

Mažo kalibro kulkų balistinių procesų modeliavimas ir tyrimas / Research and simulation of ballistics processes of small arms ammunition bullets

Vilkauskas, Andrius 26 July 2005 (has links)
The research object is to develop, verify and validate computational models of small arms ammunition bullets (calibre up to 12.7mm) and bullet-target interaction. Applying the developed computational models, the ballistic processes of small arms ammunition bullets have to be investigated and the main dynamic properties of such processes need to be obtained.

Kriminalistická balistika / Forensic ballistics

Chlostová, Barbora January 2021 (has links)
Forensic ballistics Abstract This thesis deals with one of the disciplines falling under forensic science, forensic ballistics. Forensic ballistics is a forensic field focused on firearms, ammunition and other objects used in shooting incidents associated with committing a crime. The aim of this thesis is to provide a basic explanation of the term forensic ballistics, ballistics evidence and briefly describe the most important methods of ballistics examination. At the end is also mentioned the legislation of firearms and ammunition. The diploma is divided into five chapters. First chapter is focused on the history of forensic ballistics, one part of this chapter describes the history on the territory of the Czech Republic, the other part deals with worldwide history. This section is complemented by several case that have become significant milestones for forensic ballistics, such as the case of Charles Stielow from the US state of New York. The following chapter provides a definition of forensic ballistics, its purpose and divides ballistics into several parts. Forensic ballistics is composed of four basic areas internal, intermediate, external and terminal ballistics and two others dealing with phenomena occur before and after the actual shot prenatal and postterminal ballistics. In the other part of the...

Kriminalistická balistika / Forensic ballistics

Votava, Milan January 2011 (has links)
- 1 - 9. Abstract Forensic ballistics The goal of this thesis is to initiate readers into the branch of criminalistic or forensic ballistics and to its basic terminology. It is not possible to compile this theme at full length, there is no sufficient space for it, therefore I offer professional minimum of criminalistic ballistics. The fundamental purpose of my thesis is to afford the complex view of problems of modern forensic ballistics. The thesis is composed of introduction, six chapters, conclusion and supplements. Introduction defines short acquaintance with theme and with reasons why I decided on the subject of criminalistic ballistics. The following chapter "Historic development of fire arms" features history of weapons or fire arms. The subchapter "Historical development of forensic ballistics" includes the development of the branch abroad and in the territory of late Czechoslovakia too, including the well-known case of manslaughter of countess Windischgrätz. The chapter "Conception of forensic ballistics and its signification" illustrates basic division of criminalistic ballistics, then illustrates objects of investigation and occurrence of ballistics clues. The chapter named "Categories of object in ballistics investigation" is divided into three subchapters and readers can learn basic dividing of...

Metodika zkoumání rychlých a stochastických mechanických dějů / Methodology of fast and stochastic mechanical process research

Kolomazník, Petr January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the research of fast processes. It delineates technique the process is captured by with following interpretation of the results received. Fast processes are captured using high speed video camera system Olympus i-SPEED 2. The actual object of measuring and examination was an air pistol and its initial velocity.

Parametrizace vzniku kaverny náhradních materiálů u normované a speciální vojenské munice / Parametrization of substitute material in caverns standard and special military munitions

Mucha, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
Title of thesis: Ballistic cavity origin characterisation; auxiliary materials of a standardised or a special military ammunition. Aim of thesis: The goal of this work is to provide a regularising framework suggesting structural changes of the auxiliary materials in the impact zone of the various ammunition. Methods: A ballistic experiment based upon the piercing test of various ammunition types. For these tests different barrier materials were used (e.g. glycerine, soap, ballistic gel). A comparative study of the various physical aspects of the cavities was exercised. Several diagnostic methods such as dimensions verification, water volume measurement, projectile speed radar check, computer tomography or the high speed camera were used to determine the secondary cavity specifics. Results: This thesis identified several key parameters determining projectile behaviour in the auxiliary materials. The major determinants were: speed, position or homogeneity of the projectile on the impact. However the major parameter defining the "injury level" was the concluded that the highest Injury level has the prohibited "fragmentation effect ammunition". On the other hand it was pointed out that so called "Black Mamba" projectiles have lower injury effect, although manufactore claims otherwise. Key words:...

Vývoj a aplikace výpočtového modelu balisticky odolného vrstveného laminátu / Development and application of computational model of ballistic resistant composite laminate

Urbášek, Jan January 2020 (has links)
This master thesis is aimed at computational modeling of ballistic resistant layered laminate. The introductory sections of the thesis are aimed at understanding the individual topics that are closely related to the interaction of the projectile and target and computational modeling of this process. The main goal of this thesis was to create a computational model that is able to reflect the behavior of aramid fabric during the interaction with the projectile. During the development of the computational model were used more methods of modeling and also more material models were used. For the purposes of the development of the computational model were used the available data of the companies SVS FEM s.r.o. and VVÚ s.p. The outcome of the diploma thesis is a computational model of aramid fabric which is designed for ballistic protection simulations. This model is validated on the basis of available experiments. The validated computational model is then applied to the simulation of ballistic protection.
