The subject of master thesis is expressway R2 in Slovakia through a valley. Height of the construction is limited by a railway line and a local road. From two designed variants was chosen one and futher examined. The span lenght of bridge fields is 24,5 +5 x 30+24,5m. The structure was designed according to ultimate and serviceability limite states and construction stages were considered in model. In master thesis was processed structural design report, drawnings, visualization and engineering report.

The topic of this thesis is detailed design of the supporting structure of a bridge. Three variants are designed. The structure is designed as a single beam bridge of 6 spans. The calculation of load efects make in software MidasCivil 2019 and Scia Engineer 18.1. The subject of the expertise of the structure is service limit state and ultimate limit state. For evaluation of cross sections is used MS Excel. Both design and relevant drawing documentation of the bridge deck and substructure. The design and assessment are according to the europien standards.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the real condition of reinforced concrete beam bridge located in Brno Jundrov. In order to evaluate this condition, there was made the main bridge inspection. Subsequently, a number of diagnostic methods were used, such as hardness tests, concrete stress strenght, ultrasonic pulse method, including their evaluation. In terms of the main inspection, the condition of construction of the bridge was evaluated as V - bad. We found out that the concrete from which the bridge is built of is in very good condition. The problem, however, is the condition of the reinforcement located on the bridge. Based on its condition there must be expected lifespan within the next 5-10 years.

The subject of my diploma thesis is a detailed static calculation of the post-tensioned concrete road bridge across Bystrica creek near Banska Bystrica in Slovakia. The bridge is element of turning ramp a motorway R1. The spatial curvature continuous bridge has 9 fields. It was made a spatial curvature computational model of the bridge for a structural analysis. The model was comparison with a straight computational model of the bridge. It is made comparison effect of the construction bridge in stages on the size of the internal forces too. The load-bearing structure was checked according to CSN EN 1992-1-1, CSN EN 1992-2 and CSN 73 6214.

The thesis deals with design of strengthening of existing bridge structure near the village Holýšov using modern method of additional presstresing. The bridge over the river of Radbuza is h-shaped beam bridge, which was built in 1924. In the present state its load capacity is under the limits for bridges situated on first-class roads. Original documentation of the bridge does not exist, the main source of information about construction details is the diagnostics research. The method of reinforcement by post-tensioning by cables in substituted cable ducts is highly efective in terms of the incerease the load capacity of existing bridge structure. The design of strengthening and the final load capacity was verified by static calculation.

Adjacent precast,
prestressed box beam bridges have a history of poor performance and have been
observed to exhibit common types of deterioration including longitudinal
cracking, concrete spalling, and deterioration of the concrete top flange. The nature of these types of deterioration
leads to uncertainty of the extent and effect of deterioration on structural
behavior. Due to limitations in previous
research and understanding of the strength of deteriorated box beam bridges,
conservative assumptions are being made for the assessment and load rating of
these bridges. Furthermore, the design
of new box beam bridges, which can offer an efficient and economical solution,
is often discouraged due to poor past performance. Therefore, the objective of this research is
to develop improved recommendations for the inspection, load rating, and design
of adjacent box beam bridges. Through a
series of bridge inspections, deteriorated box beams were identified and
acquired for experimental testing. The
extent of corrosion was determined through visual inspection, non-destructive
evaluation, and destructive evaluation.
Non-destructive tests (NDT) included the use of connectionless
electrical pulse response analysis (CEPRA), ground penetrating radar (GPR), and
half-cell potentials. The deteriorated
capacity was determined through structural testing, and an analysis procedure
was developed to estimate deteriorated behavior. A rehabilitation procedure was also developed
to restore load transfer of adjacent beams in cases where shear key failures
are suspected. Based on the
understanding of deterioration developed through study of deteriorated adjacent
box beam bridges, improved inspection and load rating procedure are provided along
with design recommendations for the next generation of box beam bridges.

This thesis deals with the structural-technical survey of beam bridge no. 204c - M1, located in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to general characteristics of bridges, load capacity of bridges, beam bridges, concrete reinforcement, concrete, diagnosis of reinforced concrete structures, and laboratory evaluation. The practical part deals with carrying out a structural-technical survey on the bridge mentioned above, its evaluation and assessment, recalculation of the load capacity, and design of the necessary rehabilitation to maintain the functionality of the bridge.
