Responsabilidad social empresarial en el sector financiero. Análisis de una empresa local a través del benchmarking de 3 empresas extranjeras en buenas prácticas en la gestión de equidad de género, durante el periodo 2014-2016

En el sector financiero peruano encontramos instituciones que declaran tener una política de RSE en sus acciones; pero, nos cuestionamos si dichas políticas forman parte de una estrategia planificada enfocada en la sostenibilidad. A ello se suma el hecho de que el sector financiero es un sector típicamente liderado por el género masculino. Por tanto, consideramos importante, como parte de una gestión de responsabilidad social empresarial, analizar las prácticas de equidad de género de los bancos referentes en el tema, para proponer algunas que se deberían implementar en Scotiabank Perú. Para determinar los bancos de los cuales se realizaría el benchmarking, se recurrió al Reporte Anual de Sostenibilidad de RobecoSAM del 2016, que expone las mejores instituciones en prácticas de responsabilidad social corporativa. Posteriormente, se revisaron los reportes anuales de cada banco. Asimismo, se revisó bibliografía especializada en benchmarking, responsabilidad social empresarial, diversidad e inclusión, prácticas del sector financiero y equidad de género. Se encontró que si bien Scotiabank Perú promueve algunas iniciativas con las que buscan promover la equidad de género dentro de su organización, éstas no forman parte de una estrategia de diversidad a largo plazo. Por ello, proponemos que dicho banco debería implementar dos propuestas: el establecimiento de un claro objetivo de mujeres en las gerencias a lo largo de toda la organización para que, como consecuencia, se desprendan prácticas planificadas y la creación de una comunidad de mujeres que fomente la equidad de género, y que se centre en el empoderamiento de la mujer. / In the Peruvian financial sector we find institutions that state to have a CSR policy in their actions; but we question whether these policies are part of a planned strategy focused on sustainability. To this we add the fact that the financial sector is a sector typically led by the male gender. Therefore, as part of a corporate social responsibility management, we consider it important to analyze gender equity practices of relevant banks in the matter of gender equality, to propose some of them that should be implemented in Scotiabank Peru. In order to determine the banks from which the benchmark would be carried out we used the Annual RobecoSAM Sustainability Report of 2016, which presents and ranks the best institutions in practices of corporate social responsibility. Subsequently, the annual reports of each bank were also reviewed. Specialized bibliography was reviewed for the subjects of benchmark, corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, financial sector practices and gender equity. It was found that while Scotiabank Peru promotes some initiatives with which it seeks to promote gender equity within its organization, these are not part of a long-term diversity strategy. For this reason, we propose that the bank should implement two proposals: the establishment of a clear objective of women in management throughout the organization that would lead the creation of a plan with practices, and the creation of a community of women to foster gender equity, and focus on the empowerment of women.

This thesis was initiated by Penta Investment as a reaction on the significant difference in EV EBITDA multiple of Fortuna and its peers, European listed betting and gaming companies. It seeks to find the reason for more than twice higher multiple and a possibility to increase it by applying best international practices in case there is a feasible way to do it for Fortuna. Three hypotheses address the possible reasons for the difference, peers incomparability, market inefficiency and opportunity for Fortuna to increase the multiple by bringing the most influential KPIs the average level of its peers. The analysis is done with a help of comparative analysis, benchmarking, regression analysis and interviews of equity analysts. As a result, action plan for increasing EV EBITDA multiple for Fortuna is developed.

On the basis of quantification of quality management systems efficiency are exposed main problems in quality management in selected firm. This thesis contains proposed correctional remedies for chosen problems elimination. On the basis of repeated measures is further efficiency assessed for realized remedies and is discovered current efficiency of quality management systems in chosen firm.

Diplomová práce pojednává o aplikaci benchmarkingu z pozice Realitní společnosti České spořitelny. V teoretické části práce je popsán celkový proces strategického řízení, z kterého benchmarking vychází. Poté je dán teoretický základ samotného benchmarkingu (postup, druhy, výhody, nevýhody). V praktické části práce je nastíněna situace Realitní společnosti České spořitelny na realitním trhu, její největší slabiny a je zvolen benchmark pro porovnání. Po samotné aplikaci benchmarkingu (finančního i nefinančního) jsou vyvozeny závěry a doporučení, které by měly vést ke zvýšení výkonnosti společnosti.

This thesis was created for the purpose of processing methodology course named "Communication between the parents and the kindergarten" for employees of nursery schools. Participants after finishing the course should be able to respond more appropriately to often difficult situations that may arise. A higher level of communication skills should increase the competibility of the kindergarten and create a friendly atmosphere. The work is aimed at kindergartens with personalized education which have their own origin in Spain. The author looks at the problem through benchmarking (continuous and systematic comparison to the top of this branch-- Spain, Poland). Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, interviews and observation. The result is a course methodology which includes six exemplary studies and their solutions with some other advice for a mutual communication.

The aim of the thesis is to describe the Czech retail industry and the practice used in the category management. The work compares and evaluates the current state of the ice-cream category management in different retail chains and recommends changes for the next ice-cream season for one of the retailers. The description of the retail industry and the introduction set the background for the thesis and the explanation of the continuous category management provides the framework for the analysis. The empirical part conducts the category planning step by step. The key parts are category assessment and category scorecard, which benchmark different stores in terms of assortment, display, price, and promo. Finally recommendations and conclusions are derived from the analysis to improve the category performance.
