"Det är sällan diskussioner om det är Jahve, Buddha, Allah eller Gud". : En kvalitativ intervjustudie om hur pedagoger säger sig arbeta allsidigt och sakligt i förskolan med fokus på andra trosuppfattningar än den kristna trosuppfattningen i sina verksamheter.

Selman, Angelica January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of the study is to find out how the respondents, think, feel and practice curriculum assignment Objectivity and comprehensiveness in their role as preschool teachers. With this as a starting point I made the choice to do the survey through a qualitative approach. As a research method I used structured focus group interviews with a total of 10 pre-school teachers with different backgrounds, in two different units. They felt that they highlight differences but they are not actively working to lift the beliefs or ceremonies linked to other beliefs than the beliefs in the majority society. The study relies on a developmental theory based on the American developmental psychologist Urie Bronfenbrenner (1979). The theory describes how the individual interacts with the environment at different levels and how it affects the child’s development and in his or hers identity building. The result showed that the majority of the interviewed preschool teachers consider it difficult to work on the basis of a comprehensive assignment focusing on beliefs and celebrations. The local governing body is clear that versatility and integrity are to be implemented. I want this study to achieve a greater awareness of the importance and understanding of the pre-school teacher's role in a child's positive identity development and its impact on his or hers role in the Swedish society.
