Saci and Camonge make part of popular culture. The artist uses these personages to create a new vision from his book Saciologia Goiana (1982). Saci is from Brazilian folklore and Camongo is from cordel literature and they were used to hide an image of a literary critic, the same Teles. Camões represents the erudite, he makes a dialogue between Europe and Brazil. Goiás and images of this region help us to understand the dichotomy erudite/popular.
