No. of bitstreams: 1 Jesus_FabianeTeixeirade_M.pdf: 1056187 bytes, checksum: b3de5294f49af27f5426a20990819eb0 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2009 / Resumo: Ao declarar que "Brasileiro tem o preconceito de não ter preconceito", Florestan Fernandes sintetiza a idéia de que a ideologia da chamada democracia racial recobre a realidade das relações sociais no Brasil: esta pesquisa irá, pois, tendo em vista o contexto histórico-social no qual se principiou o debate acerca da questão da identidade nacional, verificar se as teorias raciológicas, deterministas e positivistas desenvolvidas naquele momento ainda são colocadas em circulação na sociedade nacional. O objeto de análise são as "Políticas de Ação Afirmativa" que defendem a adoção de cotas para "negros" em universidades públicas. O corpus é constituído de artigos da seção "Tendências e Debates" da Folha de S. Paulo sobre esse assunto, publicados entre os anos de 2001 e 2006. O quadro teórico e epistemológico no qual embaso minha pesquisa é o da Análise do Discurso. A pesquisa visa compreender de que modo o "negro" é significado nas referidas Políticas de Ação Afirmativa, afetando o lugar historicamente ocupado no conjunto da sociedade nacional e promovendo novas formas de civilidade. Pretendo com isso contribuir com as discussões do Projeto Temático CAeL (Processo Fapesp No. 2004/07734-0), mostrando de que modo certos mecanismos de segregação continuam vigentes nas discussões sobre a "democracia racial" e as políticas públicas formuladas para promovê-la / Abstract: When declaring that "Brazilian has the preconception to not have preconception", Florestan Fernandes synthecizes the idea of the ideology about the called racial democracy ,it hide the reality of the social relations in Brazil: this research go, therefore, in view of the description-social context in which it began the debate concerning the question of the national identity, to verify if the raciological, deterministics and positivistics theories developed at that moment still they are placed in circulation in the national society. The analysis object is the "Politics of Affirmative Action" that defend the adoption of quotas for "blacks" in public universities. The corpus is constituted of articles of the section "Tendências e Debates" of the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper on this subject, published between the years of 2001 and 2006. The theoretical and epistemological picture in which I base my research is the Discourse Analysis. The research aims at to understand of that way the "black" is meant in the related Politics of Affirmative Action, affecting his historically place in set of the national society and promoting new forms of civility.
