The public space in question will be looked at and analyzed considering it`s components and specificities that, in relation to each other, work as a `public scenario`. The concept of `scenario` is the key for explaining the human actions in the physical space, that is, in the Cultural Corridor. The aim of this diploma thesis is to make a model comparability analysis of controlled transactions within the reinsurance of insurers and to recommend appropriate transfer pricing methods based on defined assumptions. The work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with transfer pricing issues, focusing on comparability analysis and recommended transfer pricing methods according to the Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administrations formulated by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (Guidelines OECD). The second part describes the basic knowledge and routine practice for the area of reinsurance connected to the transfer of insurance risks. The last part combines the first two chapters, i.e. application of transfer pricing methods in the light of the comparability analysis according to the Guidelines OECD for reinsurance of insurers. The application itself is implemented through the model comparability analysis in order to recommend appropriate transfer pricing methods, i.e. in accordance with the arm's length principle.

After the recent world financial crisis, macroprudential policy tools have started to play an important role in maintaining financial stability. In many countries, the tools have been extensively used only in recent years and their effectiveness is often difficult to assess. Using an index as a proxy for policy tools is one of ways to measure their impact. In this thesis, a new index capturing, in contrast with other studies, also an intensity factor, is constructed. Results are mostly in accordance with economic intuition and existing studies and suggest that indices constructed in an equivalent way can help to understand the impact of policies on changes in housing prices and credit volumes. There is a demand for decision support tools that can model the electricity markets and allows to forecast the hourly electricity price. Many different ap- proach such as artificial neural network or support vector regression are used in the literature. This thesis provides comparison of several different estima- tors under one settings using available data from Czech electricity market. The resulting comparison of over 5000 different estimators led to a selection of several best performing models. The role of historical weather data (temper- ature, dew point and humidity) is also assesed within the comparison and it was found that while the inclusion of weather data might lead to overfitting, it is beneficial under the right circumstances. The best performing approach was the Lasso regression estimated using modified Lars. 1

The thesis deals with problems of price quoting of travel packages in the Czech Republic. It refers to the process of packaging in the theoretical part, as well to various ways of pricing together with calculation illustration and catalogues price strategy. Furthermore, it shows the difference between a company's and a customer's price perception and informs about the psychological price effect on the final consumer. The important part of this thesis represents the analysis of the current situation of the price quoting of travel packages in the Czech Republic in comparison with the situation abroad. Chapters are oriented to the analysis of the legislation in the field of packaging and price quoting of travel packages, of the praxis of Czech and foreign travel agencies and of taking action of interested institutions to solve this problem. The whole thesis is supplemented with a detailed analysis of the data extracted from the questionnaire.

This Diploma thesis is focused on the Internet marketing tools, which are suitable for the Company aimed at selling consumable goods. These Internet marketing tools are applied within Zoot Company. Diploma thesis is divided in two logical parts, theoretical and practical. Individual tools are introduced and intimately analysed in theoretical part. For all mentioned tools, there is a definition of their advantages, description of the process, how to manage those tools, the process models and the description of the tools for their evaluation. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. This part contains the analysis of the Zoot Company and its competitors and the analysis of Zoot's usage of the Internet marketing tools defined in theoretical part. The end of the practical part contains recommendations, how to improve the Internet marketing tools management. Main benefit of the theoretical part is the framework of Internet marketing tools, which are suitable for the Company aimed at selling consumable goods and their process adaptation. The benefit of the practical part is the intimate analysis of Zoot Company and its usage of the Internet marketing tools from theoretical part together with recommendations how to improve the Internet marketing tools management.

Crude oil as a commodity is indisputably considered as one of the most utilized energy source as well as production input which enters into economic processes in the vast majority of countries over the world. The aim of this masters thesis is to provide a detailed description and analysis of the crude oil world market. Furthermore it not only gives a characteristics of the commodity and its energy use it also defines the market and its participants crude oil pricing crude oil trading and it also provides an analysis of the world oil demand as well as supply.The purpose of this masters thesis is among other to thoroughly analyze the crude oil prices development and introduce the contemporary trends present on the market. In the latter part of this thesis there will be a crude oil prices time series modelled and probable future price direction outlined. Moreover the thesis will reflect on the current oil prices drop with its possible effect on world economy.

Aim of this thesis was finding out whether there is asymmetry on gasoline market in Czech republic, which is common knowledge or if asymmetry is only illusion. With daily data about gasoline and diesel prices from CZ market and also daily Brent Crude Oil price, thesis tires to prove that there is no asymmetry on the market. Analysis was done with asymmetric error correction model and further testing of asymmetry with koeficients from ECM. Results yield that both gasoline and diesel markets show rather symmetrical reaction on entry price change. Asymmetry was proven only in few lags and final statement is that asymmetry on market in Czech republic is rather illusion then reality.

Price is the element of the marketing mix that has direct effect in the profits of a company. The right price can boost the profit and the wrong price can significantly shrink it. Thus, the businesses need to set the right price in order to maximize their revenues. However, the newest factors in the economic field, the continuous changes in the environment and the current financial situation in the world has eroded the pricing power and forces the managers to look in every direction in order to be able and keep up with the changes. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is to study the psychology of pricing related to the factors that affect the consumers' psychology and behavior when it comes to purchasing decision. The information will be then useful inputs for the companies in order to understand these factors and use them to set the most suitable pricing method for their product.
