Nesse sentido, tratou-se de as objetivar e interpretar como fatos sociais que são, levando-se em conta os diferentes processos simbólicos de que resultaram os textos literários em questão. Pensando primeiro na noção durkheimiana de construção social de significados e símbolos, na auto representação relacional da sociedade com seu meio, objetivamos e interpretamos os fatos sociais de acordo com as diferentes abordagens das Ciências Humanas para pensar os processos socioculturais e históricos dessa relação. Dessa forma, o conceito cosgroviano de paisagem, como ideia, é fundamental, pois permite estudar a trama das relações humanas, inscrita num meio natural e cultural. Por fim, refletimos sobre o processo de criação literária de representação dos fenômenos sociais / This work reasons about the rural landscape representations in domestic and foreign narrative texts to analyze the social changes engendered in the tradition/modernity transition. Furthermore, it aimed to objectify and interpret them as social facts, taking into account the different symbolic processes that conformed those literary texts. Thinking first in the Durkheim's notion of social construction of meanings and symbols, such as the self relational representation of society with the environment, we aimed to interpret social facts accordingly to different approaches of Social Sciences to address the socio-cultural and historical processes related to this relationship. Thus, the Cosgrove’s concept of landscape, as an idea, it is essential, because it allows to study the web of human relationships, enrolled in a natural and cultural environment.
