Throughout its existence the Centre believed to reveal characteristics inherited from its founder Northeastern Ilizario as a rhythmic Umbanda the yard. And there is this kind of Umbanda, from Bahia features that makes it different from others. Within this training we can see the result of preservation in this group that preserves the view of patrons stay of proceedings of worship and rituals / Neste trabalho estudou-se a Umbanda do Centro de Umbanda Tupinambá, procurando vislumbrar sua presença na formação da Umbanda Sertaneja do Norte de Minas, e consolidá-la como elemento cultural. Considerando o fator social Montes Clarence, uma sociedade de fronteira que sofreu ao longo dos anos influência da interpenetração desses contrários tenta manter a fidelidade de sua formação inicial. Pretende-se com o estudo da memória e da religiosidade do Centro de Umbanda Tupinambá desvendar a relevância dessas particularidades, dando destaque à existência de mulheres fortes que vão ajudar a compor a identidade sertaneja e determinar para entidade dos Boiadeiros a singularidade do ethos sertanejo. Ao longo de sua existência o Centro acreditou revelar características nordestinas herdadas de seu fundador Ilizário, como sendo uma Umbanda ritmada de terreiro. E há, neste tipo de Umbanda, traços provenientes da Bahia que a torna diferente das demais. Uma destas diferenças está na preservação da memória coletiva do grupo que conserva Linhas inauguradas por seus pais fundadores que permanecem em atividade na atualidade. Dentro desta formação inicial que podemos observar o resultado de preservação deste grupo que na visão dos freqüentadores conserva a permanência de procedimentos de culto e rituais
