El presente trabajo refleja el desarrollo de una investigación que tuvo por objeto caracterizar uno de los principales pro-blemas asociados al funcionamiento de las PyME en argentina, como lo es el financiamiento, como asimismo identificar y sugerir opciones para su superación. Dada su relevancia en el marco de la economía nacional (la tiene también en el ámbito global) la temática adquiere incuestionable trascendencia. Tomando como base trabajos anteriores en este campo, se analizaron las distintas fuentes de financiamiento que poseen estas empresas, comenzando por los importantes aportes que registran en otros ámbitos instituciones como el Venture Capi-tal y los Business Angels, además de las entidades financieras y bancarias. También se tuvo en cuenta el rol que puede asumir el Estado en cuanto a políticas PyME se refiere, y los instrumentos propios de un mercado financiero como por ejem-plo: cheques diferidos, obligaciones negociables, fideicomisos financieros y acciones. Durante ese proceso de elaboración, se tomaron como referencias de valor las experiencias de dos empresas del sector PyME que pretendieron y concretaron su participación en el mercado de capitales, resaltando los aspec-tos que se interpretan funcionales a fin de lograr ese objetivo. Como conclusión se presenta el recorrido que una PyME gené-rica debería transitar para satisfacer el mismo objetivo, como una senda de superación capaz de conducirla, a largo plazo, a la satisfacción del propósito de ser participe y beneficiario del mercado de capitales. / This thesis reflects the development of an investigation to characterize one of the main problems asociated with the operation of SME in Argentina, as it is financing sources, as well to identify and suggest options to over-come it.Giving their relevance inside national economy (as they have it globally) the subject adquires an unquestio-nable transcendence. Taking previous literature in this field as a basis, there were analized the different financing sources that this enterprises have, beginning with the important contribution that record in other fields institutions as Venture Capitals and Business Angels, as well as financial and banking entities. It was also taken in account the role that State could assume as for SME politics it refers, and the proper capital market instruments, for example: deferred payment checks, trading obligations, financial trusts and market shares. During this development process, there have been seen as worth references the experience of two enterprises in the SME sector that intented and settled its participation in the capital market, marking out the conditions that were inter-preted as funtional to reach that objective. As a conclu-sion, it is shown the course a generic SME should take to satisfy the same objective, as a path toward self impro-vement capable of driving it, in a long term, to reach the porpouse of being part and beneficiary of the capital market.
