Professionellas berättelser om barns känslouttryck och tankar vid förlust av en närstående

Zanteré, Rebecca January 2021 (has links)
In this thesis the anecdotes of 10 professionals experience working with children between the ages 0-12 living with sorrow. The purpose of this thesis is to describe how professionals use work methods and support to gain understanding of children's emotions and thought processes after loss of someone close. Frameworks used to gain a deeper understanding of the child's sorrow are Gurli Fyhrs theory of sorrow and Donald Winnicotts theory of play. The results show that child sorrow is “stripped” which means that the children change between being extremely sad, angry towards being happy and playing as if nothing happened. Professionals use various work methods, such as asking the child to draw or play with different toy figures to discover the child's emotions and thoughts concerning the loss of someone close.
