O presente trabalho analisa, por meio dos artigos de pesquisa como é a relação e como está sendo utilizada a Inteligência Artificial (IA) na Ciência da Informação (CI) e perceber a evolução e o impacto das áreas de atuação da CI com base em IA, concretizando-se este objetivo através da Análise de Domínio (AD) de acordo com Hjørland (2002) e Smiraglia (2014). Tendo como objetivos específicos: desenvolvimento de um quadro conceitual sobre o tema; revisão sistemática da literatura assente nas publicações científicas identificadas como tendo elevado impacto; e um estudo bibliométrico direcionado para a produção científica sobre IA e CI. O referencial teórico apresenta o enquadramento sobre CI, IA e AD. Descreve alguns aspectos e discussões sobre CI e IA. A abordagem da AD é a última a ser apresentada, onde é exposto seus conceitos e aplicações metodológicas ou teóricas. As abordagens e metodologia adotadas para o estudo em questão é uma pesquisa de literatura científica, no qual faz uso da AD. Dentre as onze abordagens apresentadas por Hjørland (2002), foram utilizadas três abordagens: estudos bibliométricos, estudos históricos e estudos epistemológicos e crítico. A revisão dos artigos de pesquisa sobre IA na CI decorre entre 2011-2020, utilizando o método Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). A coleta de dados foi realizada em bases de dados Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Library and Information Science Source (LISS), Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA); e nas revistas Journal of Information Science (JIS) e Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (JASIST). Foram analisados 109 artigos de pesquisa e identificado ano de publicação, periódico, autor, afiliação, geográfico por continente e por país e a área de aplicação. Os resultados apontam a falta de uma regularidade. Os periódicos, JIS e JASIST, são responsáveis por mais da metade dos artigos analisados. A respeito dos autores principais, não há um nome significativo em relação a quantidade de publicações. Situação que estende-se à afiliação. Os Estados Unidos da América (EUA) é o que têm o maior número de publicações, posteriormente China, seguido do Reino Unido. Examina a empregabilidade da IA no âmbito da CI por intermédio de suas subáreas estabelecidas, descritas por Araújo (2018). A subárea, representação e organização da informação é a que apresenta o maior número de artigos. Dentre as diversas temáticas, as que prevaleceram foram relacionadas ao âmbito do conhecimento e principalmente Recuperação da Informação (RI). Observa que a aplicabilidade da IA tem como objetivo apoiar a CI, sendo que mesmo com todo o potencial da IA, o seu uso exclusivo na aŕea da CI ainda não é uma realidade em sua maioria devido a algumas limitações. / The present work analyzes, through research articles, how the relationship is and how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used in Information Science (IS) and understands the evolution and impact of the areas of action of IS based on AI , achieving this goal through Domain Analysis (DA) according to Hjørland (2002) and Smiraglia (2014). Having specific objectives: development of a conceptual framework on the subject; systematic literature review based on scientific publications identified as having high impact; and a bibliometric study aimed at scientific production on AI and IS. The theoretical framework presents the framework on IS, AI and DA. Describes some aspects and discussions about IS and AI. The DA approach is the last to be presented, where its concepts and methodological or theoretical applications are exposed. The approaches and methodology adopted for the study in question is a scientific literature survey, in which DA is used. Among the eleven approaches presented by Hjørland (2002), three approaches were used: bibliometric studies, historical studies and epistemological and critical studies. The review of research articles on AI in IS takes place between 2011-2020, using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method. Data collection was performed in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Library and Information Science Source (LISS), Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LIST) databases; and in the journals Journal of Information Science (JIS) and Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (JASIST). We analyzed 109 research articles and identified year of publication, journal, author, affiliation, geographic by continent and by country and area of ​​application. The results point to the lack of regularity. The journals, JIS and JASIST, account for more than half of the articles analyzed. Regarding the main authors, there is no significant name in relation to the number of publications. Situation that extends to affiliation. The United States of America (USA) has the largest number of publications, followed by China, followed by the United Kingdom. It examines the employability of AI within the IS through its established sub-areas, described by Araújo (2018). The sub-area, representation and organization of information is the one with the largest number of articles. Among the various themes, those that prevailed were related to the scope of knowledge and mainly Information Retrieval (IR). Note that the applicability of AI aims to support IS, and even with all the potential of AI, its exclusive use in the area of ​​IS is still not a reality, mostly due to some limitations.

A eclosão, progresso e a atualização da tecnologia exige que o profissional da informação incremente a profunde as suas competências nesta área, tornando-se o processo de armazenamento e recuperação da informação mais complexo e exigente. Durante anos foram criados vários cursos nesta área, onde os mesmos estão em constante atualização de acordo com as necessidades exigidas. Com a presente dissertação pretende-se efetuar um levantamento histórico de todos os cursos que existiram, e os que ainda se encontram em funcionamento, na área da Ciência da Informação. Antes da criação do primeiro curso de Licenciatura em Ciência da Informação, em 2001 pela Universidade do Porto, existiram outros cursos na área da Biblioteconomia e Arquivística, sendo o primeiro curso criado em 1887, o curso de Bibliothecario-Archivista. Após esta análise histórica pelos antecedentes da Ciência da Informação, serão apresentados os cursos do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Superior, antes e após a implementação do Processo de Bolonha e a criação da Agência de Avaliação e Acreditação do Ensino Superior. Será referido o Euro-Referencial da Informação-Documentação, assim como será apresentada uma análise crítica dos cursos que ainda se encontram em funcionamento, à luz da abordagem dos paradigmas de Silva e Ribeiro. / The emergence, progress and updating of technology demand that information professionals increase and deepen their skills in this area, making storage and retrieval of information more complex and demanding. Consequently, several courses have been created in this area for years and are constantly updated according to the required needs. This dissertation aims to survey all the past existing courses and those still in operation within Information Science. Before the creation of the first-degree course in Information Science in 2001 by the University of Porto, there were other courses in Librarianship and Archivists, the Bibliothecary-Archivist course being the first one created in 1887. After this historical analysis on the precedents of Information Science, we will present the 1st Cycle of Higher Education courses before and after implementing the Bologna Process and the creation of the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education. Furthermore, we will refer to the Euro-Information-Documentation Reference System, as well as a critical analysis of the courses which are still operation will be presented, based on Silva and Ribeiro's paradigms.

A evolução dos meios de comunicação digitais, oriunda do progresso tecnológico a que temos vindo a assistir, e a introdução de dispositivos móveis no quotidiano da população, vieram não só revolucionar o modo como as pessoas comunicam, mas também o modo como têm acesso a conteúdos informativos. Cientes destas alterações, as organizações compreendem que precisam de reformular e adaptar os seus processos comunicativos às novas necessidades, introduzindo novos meios veiculadores de conteúdos informativos e adaptando esses conteúdos a diferentes plataformas, como o mobile. A presentes dissertação tem como objeto de estudo a Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto e o seu objetivo centra-se no desenvolvimento do protótipo de uma aplicação capaz de devolver conteúdo informativo relevante consoante o perfil do utilizador, incorporando uma componente participativa de forma a promover engagement. Sustentada por uma revisão bibliográfica com foco nas organizações, Ciências da Comunicação, Novos Paradigmas da Comunicação Digital e a Comunicação Mobile, a validade desta dissertação é conseguida através dos métodos de investigação utilizados para aferir o modelo ideal a prototipar, que vá ao encontro das expectativas dos utilizadores, tornando-se uma ferramenta útil e eficiente. / The evolution of digital means of communication, as a result of technological progress that we've been experiencing, and the introduction of mobile devices in our daily basis, have not only come to change the way of people communicating, but also the way how people have access to information. Aware of these changes, organizations understand that they need to reconsider and adapt their communication processes to new needs, introducing new ways of spreading information and adapt these contents to different platforms, such as mobile. The study case of the following dissertation is Faculae de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and its objective focuses on the development of an application prototype that shows relevant information to the user considering its profile, integrating a participating component in order to promote engagement. Provided with a state of art focused in the organizações, Ciências da Comunicação, Novos Paradigmas da Comunicação Digital and Comunicação Mobile, this dissertation's validity is proved through investigation methods used to evaluate the ideal model to prototype, that meets the users' expectations, becoming an effective and useful tool.

A adoção de recursos tecnológicos nas instituições museológicas, nos dias atuais, tornou-se uma realidade. Atualmente, os museus acreditam que podem aperfeiçoar a interação com o seu público e a divulgação de seus produtos e serviços através das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC). Neste contexto, as plataformas tecnológicas de gestão de coleções apresentam-se como soluções inovadoras utilizadas nos espaços museológicos. Porém, no âmbito dos museus universitários brasileiros, o uso das TIC como recursos facilitadores no processo de disseminação, acessibilidade e integração dos serviços museológicos ainda é incomum. Nestes ambientes, também é possível verificar que os acervos dos sistemas de informações, destas instituições, são tratados de forma independente, com recursos e instrumentos de pesquisa diversos, impossibilitando a identificação de relações existentes dentro desta unidade informacional. Esta dissertação apresenta um estudo de caso, desenvolvido no Museu de Arte Murilo Mendes (MAMM), unidade orgânica da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), situado em Minas Gerais, Brasil, e tem como foco o Sistema de Informação do poeta Murilo Mendes, composto pelos acervos bibliográfico, arquivístico e museológico do escritor. O objetivo principal do estudo é desenvolver uma proposta de implementação de plataforma tecnológica para agregação destes acervos que, hoje, encontram-se desmembrados. A investigação dividiu-se em três etapas: (1) recolha de dados - através de levantamento bibliográfico/documental e entrevistas informais, que auxiliaram na coleta de informações sobre o tema da dissertação e a instituição do caso em estudo, o MAMM; (2) análise de dados - estudo e análise do Sistema de Informação do poeta Murilo Mendes e das plataformas tecnológicas operantes no MAMM, por intermédio de identificação e validação de requisitos necessários a uma plataforma agregadora e testes funcionais na plataforma selecionada; (3) conclusão - diagnóstico sobre a plataforma tecnológica agregadora a ser implementada e a importância da integração dos acervos (bibliográfico, arquivístico e museológico) do poeta Murilo Mendes. Como principal contributo do estudo realizado é possível apontar a identificação de uma plataforma agregadora de acervos bibliográfico, arquivístico e museológico, que pode ser adotado como um modelo de agregação de acervos, a ser utilizado por instituições museológicas em situação similar ao MAMM, de forma a garantir uma recuperação integrada da informação mais eficaz e eficiente. / The adoption of technological resources in museological institutions, nowadays, has become a reality. Currently, museums believe that they can improve the interaction with their public and the dissemination of their products and services through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In this context, technological platforms for collections management are presented as innovative solutions used in museum spaces. However, within the scope of Brazilian university museums, the use of ICT as facilitating resources in the process of dissemination,accessibility and integration of museum services is still uncommon. In these environments, it is also possible to verify that the collections of the information systems of these institutions are treated independently, with different resources and research tools, making it impossible to identify existing relationships within this informational unit. This dissertation presents a case study, developed at the Murilo Mendes Art Museum (MAMM), an organic unit of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and focuses on the Information System of the poet Murilo Mendes, composed by the bibliographical, archival and museological collections of the writer. The main objective of the study is to develop a proposal for the implementation of a technological platform for the aggregation of these collections, which today are dismembered. The research was divided into three stages: (1) data collection - through a bibliographical/ documentary survey and informal interviews, which assisted in the collection of information about the subject of the dissertation and the institution of the case under study, the MAMM; (2) data analysis - study and analysis of the Information System of the poet Murilo Mendes and of the technological platforms operating in the MAMM, by means of identification and validation of the necessary requirements for an aggregating platform and functional tests in the selected platform; (3) conclusion - diagnosis of the aggregator technology platform to be implemented and the importance of the integration of the collections (bibliographical, archival and museological) of the poet Murilo Mendes. As a main contribution of the study carried out, it is possible to point out the identification of a bibliographical, archival and museological collection aggregation platform, which can be adopted as a collection aggregation model, to be used by museological institutions in a situation similar to MAMM, in order to ensure the most effective and efficient information retrieval.

A complexidade inerente à organização de uma entidade hospitalar e o aumento das capacidades das tecnologias de informação colocam exigências acrescidas na gestão de informação hospitalar. A capacidade de avaliar o desempenho dos principais atores desta função constitui um pré-requisito para uma tomada de decisão informada. Com o presente trabalho pretende-se identificar um conjunto de indicadores de monitorização de desempenho de um serviço de informação em contexto hospitalar, tendo como estudo de caso o Serviço de Arquivo do Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João (CHUSJ). O método seguido parte da análise dos principais processos organizacionais do Serviço, aos quais se associam indicadores absolutos e relativos, sendo selecionados aqueles que permitam evidenciar a evolução da atividade e o impacto das medidas de gestão tomadas. O modelo de indicadores obtido é aplicado em dois momentos, antes e depois de uma mudança significativa nos processos organizacionais, constituída pela implementação do Repositório Clínico Digital no CHUSJ. / The complexity inherent to the organization of a hospital entity and the increase in information technology capabilities place increased demands on hospital information management. The ability to evaluate the performance of the main actors of this function is a prerequisite for an informed decision making. This study aims to identify a set of indicators for monitoring the performance of an information service in a hospital context, using as a case study the Archive Service of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João (CHUSJ). The method used is based on the analysis of the main organizational processes of the Service, to which absolute and relative indicators are associated. The indicators selected are those that highlight the evolution of the activity and the impact of the management measures taken. The model of indicators obtained is applied in two moments, before and after a significant change in the organizational processes, constituted by the implementation of the Digital Clinical Repository at the CHUSJ.
