My diploma thesis deals with external communication with a view to public relations. It´s applied on Robert Bosch company, spol. s r. o., Ceske Budejovice. The main objective was creating an own proposal of external communication for year 2012, aimed at one interest group of the company. This group includes university students with technical and economic specialization = potential future employees of the company. In my proposal there are some suitable elements from new trends in marketing communication (viral marketing, guerilla marketing, event marketing).

It discusses tools of marketing communication mix in the context of the entire marketing. The practical part analyzes the selected company and its communication mix. The proposition part is based on the analysis and it further describes a plan to improve the current state of marketing communication tools.

[Introduction] An investigation of relevant literature reveals numerous studies on the principles of effective advertising communications. These studies are based on work done overseas and may not apply to Blacks in South Africa. Pioneer advertising research into the Black market has been conducted in recent years by the University of South Africa's Bureau of Market Research (BM). The resultant data obtained indicated that communicating to the Black market should be treated separately from communicating to Whites in South Africa and further research is required on the effectiveness of advertising communications aimed at Blacks. This study was designed to supplement the research conducted by the Bureau of Market Research rather than to validate these findings.

Analýza lokální marketingové komunikace na vybrané společnosti / Analysis of the local marketing communication on the chosen company

The aim of my Master's Thesis is to analyse the local marketing communication of the Vodafone Czech Republic, a.s. company. I use current secondary information sources and primary resources are collected through in-depth interviews with specialists and a method of observation. My Master's Thesis starts from theoretical information on the issue, then it continues with practical findings and finally, I close up with a summary of the analysis and recommendations. I found out that the mobile telecommunications market offers a great potential for local marketing for both mobile service providers, as well as for other companies in the market. In the international Vodafone Group the marketing communication is directed mainly locally within the individual states, communication is unified and has the central character of the rules, but there are many local exceptions. In the Czech Republic, Vodafone has active, regionally based local marketing communications since the summer of 2010, but a local marketing potential is not fully utilized so far. Future trends in marketing suggest greater use of new technologies, mobile and online marketing. Local marketing will belong to the portfolio of a successful organisation.

After 2010, several low-cost banks were founded in the Czech Republic. Thanks to their strategy and customer approach, these banks considerably differed from traditional banks established on the Czech market in the 1990s. Especially in large cities, the new banks quickly gained popularity and started stealing clients from the traditional banks, which have thus seen a severe loss of clients. This diploma thesis compares one new and one traditional bank - Air Bank and ČSOB. It explores the differences in their marketing communication and surveys clients to see what makes people leave ČSOB and join Air Bank. Based on the data collected, the thesis gives a set of recommendations for both banks to improve their situation in the future.
