Dagens textilarkeologiska förmedling

This paper addresses the need to review the modern presentation of textile archaeology in museums. It is time to look at textiles in archaeology with new eyes. The reality behind archaeological textilestudy is holistic, embracing many different aspects of society. The presentation of textiles has in my opinion become old-fashioned. I will show in my paper that Jonathan Adams’ `seven constraints´ model, developed for research on ancient ships, can also be applied to textile research. I will also show that it is obvious that all seven constraints or`aspects´ as I call them - namely purpose, technology, traditions,material resources, economy, environment and ideology - and the connections between them should be taken up in museum displays. It is first then that we can obtain a holistic view of what textiles have meant to people over time.

The development of software today, the company has their own test system usually. Because there has a few bugs in the every software. And it will make the damage of company¡¦s property or security of information. We can find the bugs in the software by the test systems. But the few bugs will appear repeatedly even if you have been fixed it. In this time, it will be effective if we use the automatic test systems. They can solve the waste of time and cost. Appearance of the automatic test system has been solved the defect of the test method in the past. In this paper will mention two kind of automatic test systems, one of them is concolic testing, and another is random testing. In the 2009, there had the few of evidence to discuss that the concolic testing was more effective than the random testing, but there wasn¡¦t have the enough demonstration. So I hope to prove that the effectiveness comparison between concolic and random testing by this paper.

As the world¡¦s high degree of urbanization, greenhouse gas emission by vehicles, home appliances and industrial production is increasing year by year and according to the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) report urban carbon-dioxide emissions accounted for 80% of total global emissions. In order to encourage the alternative energy development, Taiwan government actively promotes the subsidy for alternative energy implementation, thus making the solar energy industry booming in recent years. Based on the government procurement competition mechanism, the procurement competition needs to be transparent and fair. Faced with competition in the industry, companies must reduce costs and improve quality while also required to enhance the customer satisfaction. Therefore, a good engineering project control becomes the most important factor to enhance a company's competitive ability. Particularly, when professional management is getting more and more important nowadays, solar energy system¡¦s building construction is not only limited to technology and equipment level, but also the enterprise configuration of internal human resources and outsourcing. Moreover, how to minimize cost and how to use efficient way to make the project work on schedule are the important issues for policy makers. This study is based on a domestic solar systems engineering project, and focuses on the distribution and configuration of the limited internal and external resources of multiple projects in progress. It uses the Critical Chain Project Management in the Theory of Constraints to break through limitations. VBA programming is used to find the minimum cost of human resource conflict in the project scheduling, furthermore Arena simulation system is utilized to establish the best configuration of human resources deployment to provide decision-making mechanism. The simulation result is verified that it can really help to provide a decision-making reference to project managers to obtain the ideal scheduling and resource allocation.

An enterprise is composed of different departments, and these departments work together to achieve goals of business processes collaboratively. However, most of these business processes comprise loose operations, and information can¡¦t be passed efficiently among them. Hence, if an enterprise wants to promote competence, the problem of inefficient execution of processes must be improved. And, if workflows could have more flexibility, it will bring more benefits for enterprises. In this study, there are four parts to discuss flexible workflows. Firstly, we discussed workflows including the definitions of flexible workflows. Secondly, we discussed resource management including workflows with resource management and constraints programming. Thirdly, we discussed project management including the definition of project management and techniques. Finally, we discussed medical flows including three kinds of medical flows. We propose a prototyping system architecture including workflow management, resource management and project management to implement flexible workflows. In the experiment, we use a medical flow to explain how this system works. And, this system can produce a feasible schedule by a constraint solver.

The Theory of Constraints (TOC) is a holistic management philosophy put forward by Eliyahu Goldratt in 1984. The thinking process and improvement tools discussed in this theory are mainly geared to manufacturing environments, however their applicability to service environments has also been shown for private professional service organizations. This study demonstrates that the steps and principles of the TOC can also be applied to non-profit services, such as the elective course registration process described in this thesis. In the case of non-profit organizations, the challenge is to define the performance measures of the TOC, which are Throughput, Inventory, and Operating Expense. This study offers a novel definition for these measurements, and using the principles of the TOC, it identifies the bottleneck and constraints of the elective course registration process. Using this analysis, the study then redesigns the system in order to improve the performance measures of the system.

"We gotta get out of this place": A qualitative study on the effects of leisure travel on the lives of gay men living in a small community

A feminist point of view is used in this study of gay men living in a small, collegiate community who use leisure travel as a negotiation strategy to achieve freedom of expression. Feminism is concerned with equality, empowerment, social change, the elimination of invisibility and the distortion of situated experiences. Feminist research is no more defined by the sex of the researcher than by the sex of the researched. Several in-depth interviews were conducted with key informants who revealed the complex nature of how many gay men pursue leisure experiences that are affirming to their gay self-identities in "Soledad." While gay meeting places and people exist in this small community, they remain mostly covert and invisible. Leisure travel to larger cities was a major negotiation strategy used to escape the stifling, hetero-normative community in which they lived. Escaping perceived hostilities was essential for gay men to feel comfortable exploring their homosexuality in a positive, affirming manner. Furthermore, the benefits of leisure travel bled into the daily lives of gay men after leisure travel was performed. For instance, leisure travel helped gay men make other gay friends who helped them cope with their homosexuality, and, in the process, they helped them "learn" how to be gay. The skills and experiences these gay men acquired while pursuing leisure in other places helped them transform their daily lives and home community into a more bearable place to live, thereby making home an easier place to negotiate. Gay men were able to discover a whole new set of possibilities of how to express themselves and discovered a new "gaze" by which to view the world. This research adds to the literature on travel and tourism, while expanding the information we have concerning the gay subculture that is becoming more socially and politically efficacious and economically powerful. Likewise, some of the gaps in the literature concerning leisure constraints and negotiation are also filled by this research.
