Invoking this system, the creation of internet site consists of two main stages. The first stage. When the design of the site is known, there are formed the templates of pages of the site. The properties of the templates are formed too: height, width, position and etc. On this stage, the objects which will be edited on the templates are placed: text paragraphs, pictures, menu elements and etc. The second stage. There are assigned appropriate properties to the object which are placed on the templates: text type, style, height, color, picture height, width and etc. There are described tools in this work, which are used in the site creation process: 1) site content management system creating system; 2) the content management system created by the first tool. There are discussed few content management systems in this work. As i decided, that striving for the versatility of creation of the sites, it would be worth to create the system, which could to create dynamic site content management systems itself by using templates. The program is created using PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS programming technologies. PHP technology was used because it woks independently on the platform it is working in. Bartuška, Paulius 02 June 2004 (has links)
Appropriate information in time has developed to a main business resource and requires the same professional management as conventional means of production. However, the huge supplies as well as the customary decentralized storage are aggravating the effective handling of information. Content management approaches to unify the administration of relevant information. There are developing a vast number of software products which aim to apply this concept. However, a clear definition of content management does not exist and thus, the market offers a variety of solutions. This master thesis analyzes content management systems which represent different aspects of content management, such as Web content management, collaboration in Intranets or management of multimedia. As a basis, general comparison criterions are developed, which orientate to the content life cycle. Examples of application areas for each system conclude the comparison.

Web Content Authorship: Academic Librarians in Web Content Management

Vassilieva, Elena 05 1900 (has links)
An increasing number of libraries and information centers are using content management (CM) applications to develop, redesign, and maintain their websites. the purpose of this research was to provide understanding of attitudes of academic librarians about how their utilization of CM technology influences the information services they provide at the academic library’s website and to examine their perceptions of how using CM affects the creation of the web content. This research applied a qualitative research design (electronic survey and in-depth semi-structured interviews of academic subject librarians) with elements of a quantitative approach. the study discussed the concept of web authorship and supplied fundamentals for future theoretical research about authorship in web content development at academic libraries. the study provided an overview of CM at academic libraries and explored characteristics of dynamic content and semantic web applications at their websites. It discussed librarians’ opinions about issues of migration to the new content management system (CMS), factors affecting its efficient employment, and roles of librarians in web content management. Results of this study will serve to future research on management behavior of academic librarians authoring web content with the help of CM. the findings about the difficulties observed in the use of CMS and solutions, influence of training and learning, importance of cooperation and communication, adjustment of the CMS to the users’ needs, qualifications and skills needed in application of CM, distribution of responsibilities in the use of CMS, features of the CMS, and requirements to its functionality will have implications for academic and other libraries applying CM.

A Functional Framework for Content Management

Broadbent, Robert Emer 16 June 2009 (has links) (PDF)
This thesis proposes a functional framework for content management. This framework provides concepts and vocabulary for analysis and description of content management systems. The framework is derived from an analysis of eight content management systems. It describes forty-five conceptual functions organized into five functional groups. The functionality derived from the analysis of the content management systems is described using the vocabulary provided by the functional framework. Coverage of the concepts in the existing systems is verified. The utility of the framework is validated through the creation of a prototype that implements sufficient functionality to support a set of specific use cases.

Lernmaterialien effektiv aufbereiten und wiederverwenden

Lorenz, Anja, Fassmann, Lars January 2010 (has links)
