Esta é uma pesquisa que tem como objetivo encaminhar uma sondagem do ideário contemporâneo que, midiaticamente, se desdobra em torno de uma palavra de ordem, ou seja, o termo bem-estar. Esse termo, o modo como comparece neste trabalho, foi considerado a partir do corpus desta pesquisa e que veio a ser o caderno Equilíbrio do jornal Folha de S. Paulo (de 01/2000 a 06/ 2005), bem como da pesquisa bibliográfica. A partir daí, levou-se em conta o termo bem-estar naquilo em que é colocado em questão um estilo sócio cultural de busca de felicidade que tem a experiência sensível do corpo, os cuidados com a saúde, a construção da beleza e a autonomia dos indivíduos como componentes de um Bem maior. Isto posto, esta pesquisa estabeleceu recortes específicos de abordagem do ideário de bem-estar que mantém em comum a perspectiva de que ele se coloca como forma de resposta àquilo que Freud chamou de mal-estar na cultura. O termo resposta interessa aqui na qualidade de investimento libidinal que privilegia certas formas de presença dos indivíduos no laço social. Dentre os recortes específicos dessa abordagem encontram-se: a questão das antinomias pertinentes ao laço social contemporâneo e o ideário de bemestar permeando-as na qualidade de um desdobramento de certa ética do bem-estar; a veiculação midiática de imagens de corpos implicados no ideário de bem-estar e a cativação que esses propõem, questão que remete às mídias como um Outro cujo olhar oferta reconhecimento e legitimidade identitária; consumo e bem-estar; o sucesso da psiquiatria contemporânea nas mídias e as promessas de minimizar os sofrimentos mentais através de intervenções técnicas no corpo. / This study has the objective of investigating contemporary ideas that, in the media, fall under the omnipresent catchword of \"well-being.\" In this present thesis, the term \"wellbeing\" is used exclusively according to the meaning found in the corpus of this study the section of the Folha de S. Paulo daily newspaper entitled Equilíbrio [Balance], which ran from January 2000 to June 2005 and in part of the bibliographic research. The term was thus used for aspects where it questions a socio-cultural style of seeking happiness in the sensorial experience of the body, health care, the construction of beauty, and the autonomy of individuals as components of a broader good. This having been established, the thesis sets up specific ways of approaching the ideal of well-being that have in common the perspective that the ideal is presented as a type of response to what Freud called \"discontent in civilization.\" The term response is of interest here, being understood as libidinal investment that gives special emphasis to certain forms of the presence of individuals in their social ties. Among the specific aspects in approaching notions of well-being are the following: the question of the antinomies pertinent to contemporary social ties and the ideal of well-being that permeates them as consequences of a certain ethic of well-being; the broadcasting by the media of images of bodies that fit into the ideal of well-being and the fascination that these bodies propose, a question that has to do with the media as an Other whose gaze offers recognition and identitary legitimacy; consumption and well-being; the success of contemporary psychiatry in the media; and promises to minimize mental suffering by technically acting on the body.

On the other side, we suggest that the understanding of such relational space can point to similarities among these different fields of artistic creation, enabling us a new perception of the aesthetics of poetry. To achieve such goal, it was necessary to avoid the modern conceptions of the body as matter, a substance whose main attribute is extension and its possibilities of measurement, and the language as a tool of the mind, associated with conceptual and ideal thinking. On the contrary, we attempt to work with the hypothesis that body and language are if not necessarily at least constantly connected to each other, throughout the concepts of body-in-life and language as action and discourse. The analysis took in consideration an ensemble of contemporary works, from the poets Angélica Freitas and Marília Garcia, to the actress, writer and theater director Cristina Flores, through the North-American performer Laurie Anderson. We found it necessary to formulate a style of writing that entangled formal aspects from the essay and from the drama, in a sort of entangle of distinct voices, in a way that was possible to achieve the connection between the concepts brought to life during the research and the physical experience of elaborating the text

[pt] A dissertação parte da afirmação feita por Agamben no prefácio de Estâncias de que a palavra ocidental encontra-se fraturada, cindida em um polo extático-inspirado [a poesia] e um polo racional-consciente [a filosofia], sem que nenhum dos dois consiga reduzir plenamente o outro. A partir desse diagnóstico, que retoma o tema platônico da antiga querela, delineam-se alguns dos modos como a relaçao aparece em parte da obra do filósofo (além do já citado Estâncias, A linguagem e a morte, o prefácio de Infância e história, Categorias italianas, Ideia da prosa e a seção acerca do sujeito em O que resta de Auschwitz), discutindo-se temas como som e sentido, dessubjetivação, inefabilidade do fundamento da linguagem e corpo e linguagem, privilegiando sempre o diálogo que Agamben estabelece com a literatura e trazendo poetas para o debate. / [en] This dissertation begins with Agamben s claim in the introduction of Stanzas: the western word is fractured, split between inspired-ecstatic [poetry] and rational-conscious [philosophy] poles, neither ever succeeding in wholly reducing the other. From this diagnosis, which resumes the theme of the ancient quarrel, some of the ways in which the relation between philosophy and poetry appear in Agamben s work are delineated (in some of his writings such as Stanzas, Language and Death, the preface to Infancy and History, Categorie Italiane, Idea of Prose and the chapter about the subject in The Remnants of Auschwitz). Themes like sound and sense, desubjectivation, the ineffability of the negative foundation of language and body and language are discussed, always privileging the dialogue Agamben establishes with literature and bringing poets to the debate.

O objetivo inicial é o de interrogar um modelo teórico-clínico que toma a gagueira como consequência de um problema no plano do processamento linguístico e de uma dificuldade articulatória na realização de um grupo específico de fonemas; posteriormente, é encaminhada a hipótese sobre a formação desse sintoma na fala infantil. Nessa trajetória, vale-se do diálogo com o interacionismo em aquisição de linguagem e sua repercussão nos trabalhos sobre a clínica de linguagem, além de uma aproximação com a psicanálise. Junto aos autores desses campos de estudo, houve a busca de argumentos para pensar a incidência da fala do outro na relação entre corpo e linguagem. Essa articulação teórica permitiu pensar a fala da criança com gagueira e discutir alguns dados de fala de uma criança de 2:10 de idade, em tratamento clínico com esta pesquisadora. Tais dados ofereceram evidências para questionar as hipóteses que supõem um lócus privilegiado de incidência da gagueira na cadeia da fala. As concepções que utilizam as mesmas categorias descritivas da fala alterada do adulto para a caracterização da fala da criança com gagueira foram problematizadas a partir de teorias da clínica de linguagem. Procurou-se abordar a constituição subjetiva e o processo de entrada da criança no simbólico, assim como o processo de aquisição da linguagem e as mudanças típicas da infância, em que se observam os efeitos da linguagem sobre o corpo da criança. A fala da criança que apresenta gagueira foi colocada em questão e o foco central foi estabelecido em torno da afetação que o sintoma gagueira produz no outro e no próprio sujeito: um modo particular de enlaçamento na e pela linguagem - a relação sujeito-língua e fala. Houve, principalmente, um diálogo com as reflexões de Fontaine (2002), em seu texto "A implantação do significante no corpo". Isso possibilitou tecer uma indagação que implica o corpo a partir da sua relação com o significante. Abordou-se, assim, a gagueira infantil, levando em conta o entrelaçamento corpo e linguagem / Abstract: This work aims to reflect about stuttering, more particularly child stuttering. The initial goal is to interrogate a theoretical-clinic model that stands stuttering because of a linguistic processing problem and of an articulatory difficulty in the accomplishment of a specific phoneme group; after that, it is carried out the hypothesis on the formation of this symptom in the child speech. In this way, the dialog with interacionism in language acquisition was used and its effect in the studies on language clinic, as well as an approach with psychoanalysis. Along with these corresponding authors, there was the search of arguments to think about the incidence of the other's speech in the relation between body and language. This theoretical articulation allowed thinking about the child speech with stuttering and discussing some speech data of a 2:10 child, in clinical treatment with this investigator. Such data offered evidences to question the hypotheses that suppose a privileged locus of stuttering occurrences in the speech chain. The conceptions that use the same descriptive categories of adult altered speech for the characterization of the child speech with stuttering were troubled from language clinics theories. There was an attempt to approach the subjective constitution and the process of the child entry in the symbolic, as well as the process of language acquisition and the typical changes in childhood, in which the language effects are observed on the child body. The child speech that presents stuttering was put in question and the main point was established around the concern that the stuttering symptom causes in the other and in the subject him/herself: a particular way of enlacing in and by language - the subjectlanguage and speech relation. There was mainly a dialogue with Fontaine's reflections (2002) in his text "The significant implantation in the body". That made possible to weave an investigation that implicates the body from his relation with the significant. Antes, porém, há um estudo sobre a percepção sensorial na obra de Rosa, em que se consideram algumas idéias do filósofo Merleau-Ponty. Analisam-se trechos de Boiada (anotações que Guimarães Rosa fizera em sua viagem pelo sertão), além de passagens retiradas de ¿São Marcos¿, ¿A hora e a vez de Augusto Matraga¿ e Grande Sertão: Veredas. Discute-se, sobretudo, a relação entre a percepção sensorial das personagens e o caráter poético da linguagem de Rosa. Inclui-se, nesse estudo, também a relação entre o corpo da palavra e o corpo do leitor. Na análise da novela ¿Campo Geral¿, trabalha-se com a experiência do visível. O olhar míope da personagem Miguilim revela uma experiência de ordem poética e de resistência a um mundo que reduz o corpo a um instrumento de trabalho. Por fim, analisa-se a formação de Miguilim como contador de estórias. Essa atividade elabora sentidos para as percepções sensoriais da personagem e mostra ser recurso importante no enfrentamento da morte e na afirmação da alegria, temas fundamentais de ¿Campo Geral¿ / Abstract: This dissertation analyses the story ¿Campo Geral¿ by Guimarães Rosa, considering the sensorial perception of the character Miguilim. Before that, however, there is a study about the sensorial perception in Rosa¿s work, taking into account some ideas of the philosopher Merleau-Ponty. Fragments from Boiada (notes handwritten by Rosa all along his journey through the hinterland) are analysed, as well as excerpts taken from the short stories ¿São Marcos¿, ¿A hora e a vez de Augusto Matraga¿ and the novel Grande Sertão:Veredas. Above all, here is discussed the relation between the sensorial perception of the characters and the poetic nature of Rosa¿s language. Also included in this study is the relation between the body of the word and the body of the reader. The analysis of ¿Campo Geral¿ involves the experience of the visible. The myopic look of Miguilim reveals an experience of poetic order and resistance to a world that reduces the body to a mere instrument of work.
