Nová Jižní čtvrť a její propojení s řekou Svratkou / New South District and its Connection to SvratkaLeitmannová, Barbora January 2019 (has links)
The Master‘s thesis deals with the processing of the architectural study of the city block in the planned new South Quarter near the Svratka River. The project builds on a pre-diploma project whose aim was to create a territorial urban study for part of this neighbourhood. It was a section between the New Railway Station, Opuštěná Street and the existing Zvonařka Bus Station following the river embankment. The subject of the master‘s thesis is a block from this newly designed urban structure, situated in very close proximity to the river. he project focuses on the block as a whole. It conceptually solves the links between newly designed buildings, individual operations, and functions. It deals with the relationship between streets, river and buildings. Great attention is paid to the maximum use of greenery in the form of extensive and intensive roofs, internal blocks, private gardens in the inner block, as well as private front gardens. The concept seeks to provide a wide range of options and differences. This creates a closed city block that is open and responding to the river with its shape, that consists of free parts. The first / majority are the street lining. It is mostly 5-storey. Corner buildings are raised by one floor, allowing roof intensive gardens to be created. It includes a diverse range of residential units overlooking the river. Housing prevails here. On the ground floor there are a few commercial units and work-and-live. The work-and-live area also includes a private front yard on the street and private raised gardens in the interior. The second part consists of two objects extended over the pedestrian shopping promenade. One of the objects was subject of my detailed architectural study. There are the most luxurious apartments, ground floor showroom and concept store. The third part consists of a lowered 2-storey embankment building, which by its height provides the rest of the block with a beautiful, unimpeded view of the river. It covers the

Obytný soubor, Líšeň / Housing neighbourhood at Brno-LíšeňUřídilová, Valentýna January 2019 (has links)
The solved area with an area of approximately 4.2 hectares is the eastern part of the statutory city of Brno. It is located in the city of Brno Líšeň on the border of a row of village character with a small scale (old Líšeň) and loose construction of point, board and typified high-rise houses from the 20th century (new Líšeň). The aim of the project is to find a dialogue between the loose structure of the new Líšeň and the town-building structure of the old one. With its masses it creates clearly defined streets and spaces. At the same time, there is an effort to loosen the mass and to integrate it into the near nature with its form. The idea design is based on the principle of cohousing (community housing), which is designed for living in family houses and apartment buildings. The main idea of the project is to respond to today's individualized and automated time, when construction has ceased to focus on the formation of shared spaces = interpersonal relationships, it increasing anonymity and isolation. Basic social interactions, mutually beneficial relations between neighbors are disappearing. It is also a response to the disintegration of the traditional family and can replace family background. In the architectural form it also solves the issue of uniformity, the loss of human scale in modern construction. The emphasis in the project is on the diversity of types of apartments and on a diverse range of public, semi-public, semi-private and private spaces.

Nové využití bývalých vojenských areálů v Brně / New use of the former military sites in BrnoPagáč, Martin Unknown Date (has links)
The aim of the work was to create a concept of land design after the former Jaselské barracks in the locality of Brno-Ponava. The proposal addresses urban ties in the area and their possible use in the coming years. The work is based on the concept of the zoning plan of Brno, where a new street connection is being created between Šumavská and Sportovní streets. A new block of flats is proposed here, containing the functions of housing, services, hotel accommodation and a multifunctional building. This project uses the potential of the area near to the city center and proposes other elements such as a new tram loop, two new streets and a living parterre oriented to the main street with commercial areas. The use of newly created courtyards in the form of front gardens and publicly accessible areas of urban greenery is also addressed here. This will create a new park inside the block itself. The proposal deals in more detail with possible layout solutions and variants of modern living in city center and offers apartments from the smallest sizes to above-standard housing layouts. The buildings facing Štefánikova Street are based on the traditional concept of facades and layouts. On the contrary, the proposed buildings in the eastern and southern part of the complex are based on the modern concept of apartment layouts and structural solutions of individual houses. In several buildings, large accessible galleries are designed, which allow to improve communication between the inhabitants of the house, but also mainly the comfort in using the house. All apartment buildings in the basement are equipped with garages designed for apartment residents. The dominant feature of the whole complex is a designed corner building and an axially mirrored hotel. For the rest of not only the locals, a simple wellness spa facility has been designed here, which gives a different view of our traditional czech spa. To complement the newly created apartments in this locality, there is also a location for a kindergarten, which is designed according to modern teaching methods and as much as possible with a feeling for the needs of little

Elementární architektura / Výuka architektury pro mladší generace / Primary Architecture / Teaching architecture to the younger generationMenšíková, Barbora Unknown Date (has links)
Due to the complexity of the whole current educational system, the proposal creates an alternative form of teaching aesthetic perception - art and architecture, a kind of intermediate stage, which joins the existing curricula of compulsory education of children as a supplement or extension. The proposal is therefore a space - an artistic institution, focusing on the education of the young generation from the ranks of the general public. The cooperation of the School of Architecture with educational institutions creates an environment where the student emerges from the academic community and educates the general public. On the contrary, the public enters the environment of the Faculty of Architecture and offers architects a new perspective.

LAUSANNE – PLAINES DU LOUP: ekologické město / LAUSANNE – PLAINES DU LOUP: sustainable city developmentZádrapová, Lucie Unknown Date (has links)
The project focuses on the design of a residential city block, elementary school and a park in the street Plaines-du-Loup in the Switzerland city of Lausanne. The goal of the work is both to create a complex urbanistic concept and architectonical solution of a part of city block - elementary school connected to an apartment building. The urbanistic concept builds upon an already completed urbanistic study by the Tribu architects1. It aims to create a polyfunctional and diverse city environment with a richness of space. The project continues with a partial architectonic solution of an elementary school building interconnected with residential buildings. It seeks a solution to the relationship between school and living / school and public space.

PROMĚNA BRNĚNSKÉHO BRONXU / TRANSFORMATION OF BRONX IN BRNONajvarová, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
The strategy reacts to social exclusion of inhabitants of the Cejl district. It supports employment and intends to build a dynamic public space, that is missing in the area. Social urbanism focuses on the interaction of inhabitants between each other and with the spaces, and creates conditions for new workplaces. The massive broken block gets the order. The park defines a system for future development and opens up new possibilities of usage. Thanks to its low cost construction, the park can work immediately. The order created by the park allows the future objects to emerge freely and spontaneously. The design is not definitive, but it works in every phase or combination.

L'histoire de la modernité en Chine : l'architecture au contact avec le monde occidental, discours et pratiques (1840-2008) / History of Modernity in China : Architecture in Contact with Western World, Statements and Practices (1840-2008)Wei, Xiaoli 20 November 2015 (has links)
This thesis goes through the changes that occur in the architecture’s knowledge in modern China, observing the relation between architectural creation and the historical background. Taking into account the diachronic differences between the two cultures, this study analyzes the interpenetration of that knowledge between western countries and China as well as its influence upon Chinese architectural and artistic creation. Modern architecture started spreading over China from late XIXth century, together with the industrial development. In early XXth century, a new approach to modern historiography appears referring to the west. Some complex issues referring to ideology and regarding historiographical methods started to emerge through the first modern studies on Chinese traditional architecture. This thesis, based on such an historical background, analyzes the architectural projects and concepts in order to enlighten the researches, quite personal, made by the Chinese architects and historians and to emphasize their own interpretations of the key concepts on this field. The statements and practices that pave the way of architecture from the 1950s to the 1990s bring up the question of the evolution occurring in the architectural history. Chinese architecture draws its inspiration from abroad mixing it with the tradition established during the Chinese « red years ». After the opening policy and economical reforms were settled, architecture faces a great urban development. Around the end of the 1990s, some Chineseavant-garde architects started a new way aiming at re-interprating the tradition within the discipline itself.
