Reforma francouzského pravopisu z roku 1990 / Reform of the French orthography in 1990

Kaderová, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
Kateřina Kaderová La réforme de l'orthographe française de 1990 - Reform of the French orthography in 1990 Klíčová slova: French, reform of orthography, 1990, new orthography, teachers, the Czech Republic Diploma thesis - abstract (English) The reform of the French orthography from 1990 has not a clear position more than twenty years after its publication. Lively debates about it are calming down and it is high time to think about its future. We are going to present the reform in the whole in this work with the emphasis to the school environment which has a decisive influence to its expansion. The aim of the work is to gather enough data to formulate recommendations to Czech teachers about how to treat the reform and how much of it include in the lessons, if anything. The reform is gradually spreading especially thanks to the effort of its supporters. In French schools, it has been finally officialised but there are no rules in the Czech Republic. By means of a research among Czech teachers, we have realized that they are quite informed about the new orthography and their approach is rather positive. Some of them have been already teaching the new forms and others can join them after considering all pros and cons.

Rabiňáková, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of changing the Czech Constitution from indirect presidential election to direct popular election. This happened in 2012 and it is the most significant change of the Czech Constitution since its adoption. The first chapter of this thesis focuses on characteristics of a president in the Czech Republic and his specific role in the constitutional political system, which is crucial for understanding the topic. The second chapter deals with the process of constitutional change from the indirect to popular presidential election. It describes the history of legislative bills from 1989 to 2012, when the last bill was passed by the Parliament. Also, this chapter introduces an expert discussion about this fundamental constitutional change, as well as its pros and cons. The arguments for a direct election are rare in expert discussion compare to the arguments which are against. The argumentation of the political representation is generally in favor of direct presidential elections. This is in a strong contrast with political scientists and constitutional lawyer's opinion. The strongest argument for a direct election was public demand. The fact that a direct election has no place in the parliamentary political system and has potential to deform the parliamentary...

Politika soudržnosti EU a její vliv na Pardubický kraj / Cohesion and Regional Policy of the EU and its influence over the Region of Pardubice

Čeřenská, Lucie January 2010 (has links)
The aim of my thesis Cohesion and Regional Policy of the EU and its influence over the Region of Pardubice is to find out if the subjects from the Region of Pardubice have learnt to use the financial means from the funds of the EU and to benefit from them to realizing their projects which they could not probably execute only with use of their financial sources. At first I am concerned with the development of this policy since the time when six european countries have started to cooperate, this cooperation was found advantageous and was getting deeper and wider, till present programming period 2007 - 2013. The second chapter is focused on the Czech Republic which has been involved in using of financial means from the fund for the pre-entry help already during the existence of Czechoslovakia and then other using of the funds of the EU for pre-entry help followed. On the 1st May 2004 the Czech Republic gained the EU membership and since then the Czech Republic has been engaged in the Cohesion and Regional Policy of the EU. By entry to the EU the Czech Republic has won more financial means which the Czech Republic can use. I was interested in operational programmes which have taken place in the Czech Republic and distribution of the financial means assigned for the Czech Republic. The third chapter is aimed at the Region of Pardubice, its characteristics, I focus on the operational programmes which are significant for this region, I am interested in the biggest applicants and realized projects. In conclusion I can say that the subjects from the Region of Pardubice have learnt to use the financial means from the funds of the EU for their development and realization of their projects. There is some possibility to improve using the financial means from some operational programmes, the example can be improvement of the using financial means of operational programme Research and Development for Innovations. The most significant applicants for the financial supports from the funds of the EU in the Region of Pardubice are the Region of Pardubice, city Pardubice, Employment office in Pardubice, University of Pardubice, towns Ústí nad Orlicí, Svitavy, Chrudim, Králíky. Attendance of ice hockey matches in the Czech Extraliga / Attendance of Ice-hockey Matches in Czech Extraliga

Lahvička, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
This paper uses data about 3,640 matches played in the seasons 2000/01-2009/10 to explain individual match attendance of the top Czech ice hockey competition -- the Extraliga. Some interesting results are that fans decide whether to attend based on the detailed information about the home team, but use just the easily observable information about the away team; that a match having no impact on the final season outcome is much less attended; that televising a match decreases attendances of all matches played on the same day, but there is no negative next-day effect; that both very good and very bad weather decreases attendance; and that if two home matches are played in a short time period, their attendance is lower with likely higher impact on the second match. Substitution of ice hockey with soccer is investigated on several different levels -- while ice hockey and soccer are definitely long-term substitutes, there are mixed results for same-day substitution. Modernization of ice hockey arenas is identified as the key factor behind the almost 20% attendance growth in the analyzed period. This paper also presents a new realistic method of modeling seasonal uncertainty based on Monte Carlo simulation that does not rely on ex post information.
