Získávání znalostí z veřejných semistrukturovaných dat na webu / Knowledge Discovery in Public Semistructured Data on the Web

Kefurt, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
The first part of the thesis deals with the methods and tools that can be used to retrieve data from websites and the tools used for data mining. The second part is devoted to practical demonstration of the entire process. Web Czech Dance Sport Federation, which is available on www.csts.cz , is used as the source web site.

Hodnocení zabezpečení obchodních informací / Rating of Security Business Informations

Veselý, Martin January 2009 (has links)
The thesis ”Rating of security business information” is focused on creating metrics in order to assess security of an information system of the company Tech4sec, spol.s.r.o. Risks of the information system and their impact on economy of the company are elaborated by application of the created metrics. To build the part of IS/IT strategy of the company that leads to elimitation of the risks found is dealt with in the thesis as well.

Podmíněnosti spokojenosti se životem v Česku se zaměřením na geografické faktory / Determinants of life satisfaction in Czechia with the focus on geographical factors

Procházka, Petr January 2015 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to analyse determinants of subjective well-being in Czechia and to compare them with other empirical evidence from Czechia and abroad. Main theoretical approaches include those emphasising "psychological" factors and those emphasising factors outside of the human personality. Data from the Public Opinion Research Centre of more than 2,000 respondents from Czechia of years 2013 and 2014 were analysed statistically. Measures of so-called global and local subjective well-being were dependent variables. Independent variables include "geographical" and demographic variables and other dummies. It was confirmed that people living in more populated buildings, with a lower space mobility, older, of a lower employment status or unemployed, lower education and left-wing oriented declare usually a lower results on the subjective well-being, too. Gender and income had variable effect on the subjective well-being. Theoretical assumptions were not confirmed considering the settlement size, mode of commuting and religion.

Modelování Velké mlhoviny v Orionu / Modelování Velké mlhoviny v Orionu

Pavlík, Václav January 2014 (has links)
Title: Modelling the Orion Nebula Cluster Author: Václav Pavlík Department: Astronomical Institute of the Charles University Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Ladislav Šubr, Ph.D. (Astronomical Institute of the Charles University) Abstract: Young star clusters are widely discussed from the point of view of their evolution and structure. In this work we focused our attention on studying a typical representative of these objects - the Orion Nebula Cluster (ONC, M 42) - based on the observational data, including their confrontation with N- body models from Šubr et al. (2012). These numerical models were inspired by the recently proposed evolutionary scenario, according to which the star clusters begin their evolution from very dense initial conditions. From the analysis of the X-ray sources we revealed that the ONC is likely to be rotationally symmetric in the inner area ( 0.7 pc). Further analysis including also optical and IR observational data led us to the conclusion that the ONC is elongated from the North-East to the South-West on large scales (up to 2 pc). We also compared radial profiles of different mass groups of stars and we discovered a possibly inverse mass segregation between stars with masses in the interval (1 ; 5) M⊙ and the stars less massive than 0.5 M⊙ in the range from 0.5 pc to 1.5 pc. Nová média shromažďující informace o svém publiku a vztah uživatelů k bezpečnosti dat: kvalitativní studie / New media gathering users data and the attitude of users towards internet security: qualitative study

Laube, David January 2015 (has links)
The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the topic of new media and how it works with the privacy of its users. On the examples of applications such as Facebook, or Google services, I refer to the intensive and extensive kind of private information, that are stored on the provider's servers. All these data are not just gathered, but also analyzed and evaluated. Private companies use data of its users in such extension like never before. New media and their activities raises new questions about possible misuse of such data. In this thesis I mention a few examples that are somehow related to the topic of privacy and personal data protection. In the practical part I use the tools of qualitative research to explore how the issue of online privacy and data security is perceived by different user groups and how they explain their behavior. I examined whether the privacy issue is an important one and if their online activity in this context is somehow particularly regulated or restricted. For research I chose two groups of respondents - younger users up to 37 years of age and older aged 55 +. I get information from the respondents in the form of semi-structured interview. These were analyzed and I created new conclusions from it.

Růst úvěru ve střední a východní Evropě / Credit Growth in Central and Eastern Europe

Němcová, Helena January 2012 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the development of credit to the private sector in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. Although the speed of credit growth in these countries has recently slowed down as the consequence of the global financial crisis, the overall increase in credit to the private sector over the past decades has been immense. As a result, the thesis examines whether this substantial increase in credit is linked to the convergence of the CEE countries towards the equilibrium or whether it represents an excessive credit growth that could threaten the macroeconomic and financial stability in these countries. We estimate the equilibrium credit levels for 11 transition countries by applying a dynamic panel data model. Since in-sample approach may bias the estimation results we perform the estimates out-of-sample using a panel of selected developed EU countries as a benchmark. The difference between the actual and estimated credit-to-GDP ratios serves as a measure of private credit excessiveness. The results indicate a slightly excessive or close to the equilibrium credit-to-GDP ratios in Bulgaria, Estonia, and Latvia prior to the financial crisis. With regard to the significant decline in GDP during the crisis this measure of credit excessiveness in these countries have further increased.

Stanovení míry znečištění atmosféry z družicových dat / Determination of atmospheric pollution from satellite data

Hladká, Anna January 2013 (has links)
Determination of Atmospheric Pollution from Satellite Data Abstract The subject of this project is to determine air quality in Prague and the surrounding area based on satellite images and ground measurements data. The goal is to derive equations for calculating an amount of a specific pollutant over the entire area of the image. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the general theory and literature review related to this topic. The methodological part describes the steps of the procedure to handle the task, including e.g. converting satellite DN values to the radiometric values, atmospheric correction, regression analysis and mapping of the area of interest. Subsequently, the results are visualized, compared to the traditional interpolation methods and discussed. Finally, the contributions of this project and possible improvement of work on the topic are presented. Key words: Air pollution, Satellite images, Atmospheric correction, Regression analysis, Prague and surroundings

Klasifikace dat leteckého laserového skenování v pískovcových skalních městech / Classification of Airborne Laser Scanning Data in Sandstone Landscapes

Tomková, Michaela January 2018 (has links)
Classification of Airborne Laser Scanning Data in Sandstone Landscapes Abstract This work is concerned with the classification of airborne laser scanning data in sandstone landscapes called "rock cities". Standard filters do not work reliably in such a rugged terrain covered with dense vegetation and in the results the rock formations are smoothed or even removed from the terrain. The method of classification suggested in this work is based on the procedure used in manual filtration. When exploring a sufficiently dense point cloud in 3D, one is able to distinguish rock formations from trees even though their shapes are similar. In contrast to trees, rock pillars are modeled only by points reflected off the surface and therefore they make concave elevations in the ground. Because of penetration of trees, there are points reflected off a treetop, branches, leaves and also ground under the tree. The proposed method segments a point cloud according to local minima in approximated surface and classifies these objects into classes rock, tree, and mix by inner point distribution. Objects in classes tree and mix are then filtered by lasground function from LAStools. The method was tested with merged point cloud consisted of data from the standard airborne laser scanning of the Czech Republic and experimental...
