Metabolismus Se přijímaného savčím organismem ve formě Se-obohacené Brassica napus / Se-Metabolism inside the mammalian organism fed Se-supplemented Brassica napus forage

Žíla, Ondřej January 2016 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to determine whether the individual Se-speciation in the mammalian organism are affected by the form of received selenium. Selenium is an essential micronutrient important for humans and animals. It plays an important role in the antioxidant protection of the organism and in the conversion of thyroid hormones. In our experiment the laboratory Wistar rats were divided into three groups. Each group had a different diet. The rats were fed with selenium in the form of soy, sodium selenite and extracted rapeseed meal. Urine samples were regularly collected during the four-week experiment and in the end of the feeding study, the blood serum was also collected. The total selenium content was measured by ICP-MS, while the individual Se-speciation in urine and serum by HPLC coupled with ICP-MS. In the urine the identified speciation were methylselenocystein (MeSeCys), trimethylselenium (TMSe) and selenosugar 1 and 3. In the blood serum the measured speciation were TMSe, selenite, selenate and selenosugar 1. For the group fed with sodium selenite the measured values in the urine were generally higher, this might be due to a higher overall intake and also an inorganic form of selenium with a lower absorbency. Groups that received selenium from plant sources took in several Se-compounds and the total measured content of Se-speciation and secretion dynamics were not significantly different. Additionally speciation of selenosugar 2 was measured for the group fed with rapeseed meals, which in the other groups did not appear. When receiving selenium from plant sources the biotransformation in the mammalian organism differs in comparison to receiving selenium from mineral salts. The initial hypothesis that Se-speciation is influenced by the form of selenium administered in the diet was confirm by our results. Since the group fed rapeseed showed similar results as the group fed a standard feed with soy, the extracted rapeseed meal could serve as a good source in livestock nutrition.

Ekonomické dopady aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti / Economic impacts of active employment politics

Nováková, Irena January 2016 (has links)
One of the priorities not only of active employment politics of Czech Republic is employing people with a disability. State social system provides a complex support for these people in their difficult situation. If this system is supposed to cover their basic problem, it has to find the best ways to help disabled people to become independent. The necessary presumption is employing a particular person. Protected labor market was established within Czech Republic's social system, which should not be subjected to strong competitive forces or competitive forces within businesses, but is completely dependent on government subsidies. The process of disabled people's return to the free labor market is however a concept that requires a cooperation from the government, disabled people themselves and also the employers. The thesis deals with the development of legislation in Czech Republic related to employing disabled people. It rates the efficiency of already established measures and a way of creating a motivation for employers, who employ or are obligated to employ people with disabilities.

Handicap jako dar / Handicap as a Gift

Beran, Radek January 2017 (has links)
In my thesis the potential of technical struggles and various mechanical limitations of puppets themselves is explored. Related to that also other limitation of puppetry and even drama as a genre itself are uncovered. Surprising analogy with the world of people with disabilities can be found here. So a disabilitity becomes a substantial point of view and a kind of subjects of demonstration which have been used in my work up to now. In the first part resources and terms related to disabilities are considered as well as the reasons triggering my interest in this phenomenon. A particular project subconsciously drew my attention to my higher sensitivity to various forms of disabilities in life and art as well

ABSTRACT - The study of coastal dynamic is very important to better understand the processes that controls coastal evolution. The Coastal Modeling System (SMC), developed by researchers at IH- Cantabria to the Ministry of Environment Spanish is a set of tools, including methods and numerical models, which allow the study of coastal processes and quantification of impacts of human activities. This work aims to assess the marine and sediment dynamics of the Aracaju municipality, using the SMC tools It will also evaluate the areas that will be most impacted by future climate change. Major results show that dominant wave systems affecting the area are from east-southeast (ESE), and outheast (SE). Most frequent waves have significant heights between 1.0 and 1.5 m, with peak periods around 5 and 8s in 30.84% of the cases. Beach profiles experience both NE-SW and SW-NE almost equivalent transport, with a slight net transport directed SW. Divergence of longshore transport occurs at Refúgio - Mosqueiro and the Coroa do Meio beaches. The extreme flood events occur at these same places. During 50% of the time analyzed, between 1948 and 2008, flood events at those places reached 5 m and 3.4 m respectively. These are the two sectors do the Aracaju shoreline most vulnerable to coastal processes and their eventual intensification by an increase in storm frequency and sealevel rise, associated with climate change. In these two sectors are also observed the highest waves and more vigorous longitudinal currents of the whole study area. The results presented herein will certainly provide a basis for better management of shoreline ocupation of the Aracaju municipality shorezone.
