The thesis offers comprehensive systemic view on the problem of demographic security. The main objective is to create framework enabling the risk assessment of population composition and demographic changes of developed countries. The key variables are identified step by step in the thesis, their relations are drafted out and the methods of operationalization suggested. Keywords: demography, security, policymaking

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vzděláváním obyvatelstva a jeho vlivem na lidský kapitál. Nejprve je popsána historie a současná situace v českém školství. Nechybí ani pokus o mezinárodní srovnání. V další části se věnuji lidskému kapitálu. Je zde uvedena definice lidského kapitálu, způsoby jeho měření a výnosy, které můžou přinést investice do vzdělání. Lidský kapitál je totiž ve velké míře právě dosaženým vzděláním ovlivněn. V poslední části se pokouším o prognózu vzdělanosti, kterou jsem provedla pomocí metod vícestavové demografie, a posléze pak o interpretaci výsledků.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the tendency of European Union migration. First of all, I define the basic concepts relating to migration and the legislation. I focus on economic, political, social and demographic consequences of the spatial distribution of population. In these consequences, I concern with the impacts on economic variables in different countries of European Union. I will try to explain the impact of migration, advantages or disadvantages and possible solution of this issue. Finally, I refer to the issue of migration in terms of political and economic interest of migrants, such as economic instability and change of living standards, rapid demographic growth, war, religious and ethnic conflicts and environmental degradation.

Die Broschüre gibt einen aktuellen Überblick über den Stand der Demografiepolitik des Freistaates Sachsen und beschreibt zehn ausgewählte Projekte, die mithilfe der Förderrichtlinie Demografie unterstützt werden. Die Herangehensweise und das Engagement der Akteure zeigen, dass es sich lohnt, nach Handlungsmöglichkeiten zu suchen, um den Herausforderungen durch den demografischen Wandel zu begegnen. Předmětem zájmu diplomové práce jsou změny, které se v české společnosti odehrávají od počátku 90. let a jsou označovány jako druhý demografický přechod. Popisu demografických změn v naší republice nejprve předchází obecná charakteristika druhého demografického přechodu, kde se čtenář může seznámit nejen s pojmem ?druhý demografický přechod?, ale i s jeho projevy. Následuje popis vývoje demografických veličin jak na úrovni celé České republiky, tak na úrovni krajské. Poslední část diplomové práce je věnována hledání vazby demografických charakteristik na další nedemografické veličiny. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledné poznatky a čtenář zde může také nalézt kategorizaci krajů dle vývoje demografických veličin.

The aim of my diploma thesis is identify factors that affect migration and assessment of impact in selected area. In this thesis I will be processing of the analysis migration population in our country. In each chapter I will be studying migration in general, including basic terminology, I will analyze the reasons for migration, I will explain ways to measure migration and also selected migration theory. Analysis of internal migration in the Czech Republic from the 90th years to the present will be conducted according to the demographic and economic indicators. I will focus on one of the region from the Czech Republic, especially on the South region, in which I will do more detailed analysis. Primarily I will be interested in migration between local territorial unit, subchapters will capture migration between districts and urban area.
