No. of bitstreams: 1 Tese Andre M do Nascimento.pdf: 2531598 bytes, checksum: d7e62582206ae1eba1112bc887f1139a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-03-30 / The general aim of this thesis is to present the foundations concerning a proposal of work with communicative practices in Portuguese language for Brazilian indigenous teachers in the specific context of higher education at Licenciatura Intercultural course, at Universidade Federal de Goiás, from an intercultural perspective. Considering the inevitable moral and ethical dimensions surrounding this work, since it requires constant decisions making and selections, and therefore, is not neutral with respect to the power relations that pervade education in general, as well as language education in sociocultural contexts of asymmetry, the central aspect of this proposal is to place the indigenous teachers as the generators and co-constructors subjects of its bases, that is, demonstrate how the voices of teachers, through his and her demands, perceptions and expectations about the use of Portuguese language and its study, emerge as the foundation from which all reflection is given concerning the dimensions of this proposal. This work is focused exclusively on the development of the curriculum of Intercultural Portuguese, from the effective participation of indigenous teachers, whose voices are heard and implemented through the concepts, guidelines and curriculum objectives, from a perspective that seeks autonomy of indigenous teachers regarding the use of Portuguese language in their intercultural communicative practices, and that is, above all, culturally and linguistically responsive.

Goto, Samuel Shoji Fukujima 17 August 2018 (has links)
Orientador: Rodolfo Jardim de Azevedo / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Computação / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-17T02:11:17Z (GMT). Criamos as ferramentas necessárias e fornecemos modelos RTL dos processadores citados / Abstract: The design and implementation of processors is a complex task. Architecture Description Languages (ADLs) were created to extend existing HDLs to manage the inherit complexity of modern processors. Along with HDLs, they ease the development and prototyping of new architectures by providing a set of tools and algorithms to optimize and automate some of the tedious parts. However, while much has been done on using ADLs for simulating high level specifications, the academia knows very little about how to reuse them to implement real life processors. This work addresses the issues of synthesizing processors from an ADL model. To accomplish that, we chose an ADL called ArchC and we successfully synthesized pieces of its most stable models, like the PIC16F84, the i8051, the MIPS-I, the R3000 and a JVM. The processors were prototyped in FPGAs, with frequencies of operation as fast as 80MHZ to 120MHZ developed two to tree times faster compared to current approaches. We show that ArchC is in fact synthesizable, completing the design flow down to the RTL level. We provide all the necessary tools that were created to synthesize the models as well as the RTL models themselves / Mestrado / Arquitetura de Computadores / Mestre em Ciência da Computação

Zařízení pro testování malých elektrických motorů a lineárních aktuátorů / Testing equipment for small electrical motors and linear actuators

Červínek, David January 2018 (has links)
Aktuální postup testování je příliš zdlouhavý a nepřesný, zároveň není měření některých vlastností motoru vůbec možné. Hlavním úkolem zařízení je zrychlení a zjednodušení procesu testování spolu s možností otestovat všechny vlastnosti motorů. Realizace zařízení začala definováním požadavků zákazníka, dalším krokem byla analýza daných požadavků a návrh zařízení. Následovala výroba a programovaní firmwaru spolu se softwarem. Výsledkem práce je funkční přístroj schopný automatického testování sedmi základních typů motorů, měření všech požadovaných funkcí spolu s novou možností měření počtu tiků enkodéru, periody FG signálu z řídící elektroniky BLDC motorů a napěťové úrovně těchto signálů.

Examining the effectiveness of international landmine regimes : the interplay between design and implementation

Bryden, Alan Craig January 2010 (has links)
Two international treaty frameworks - Amended Protocol II (APII) to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons and the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC) - have been developed to prohibit or restrict the use of landmines. However, reflecting a gap in current academic research, there is a lack of knowledge of their effectiveness in supporting the humanitarian goals that underpin both treaties. In order to address gaps in the existing literature, this thesis applies an analytical framework grounded in regime theory to develop new insights into the design, implementation and effectiveness of APII and the APMBC within the broader framework of international humanitarian law (IHL). Two main hypotheses are explored. The first considers the importance for regime effectiveness of the relationship between design and implementation processes. The second analyses the significance for the landmine regimes of regime interplay and nesting within wider IHL and mine action discourses. In addressing these hypotheses, design/implementation interplay, agency dynamics and normative considerations represent key themes that enable us to develop new insights to a specific issue area that also demonstrates important linkages to wider humanitarian, security and developmental agendas.

FlockViz: A Visualization Technique to Facilitate Multi-dimensional Analytics of Spatio-temporal Cluster Data

Hossain, Mohammad Zahid 26 May 2014 (has links)
Visual analytics of large amounts of spatio-temporal data is challenging due to the overlap and clutter from movements of multiple objects. A common approach for analyzing such data is to consider how groups of items cluster and move together in space and time. However, most methods for showing Spatio-temporal Cluster (STC) properties, concentrate on a few dimensions of the cluster (e.g. the cluster movement direction or cluster density) and many other properties are not represented. Furthermore, while representing multiple attributes of clusters in a single view existing methods fail to preserve the original shape of the cluster or distort the actual spatial covering of the dataset. In this thesis, I propose a simple yet effective visualization, FlockViz, for showing multiple STC data dimensions in a single view by preserving the original cluster shape. To evaluate this method I develop a framework for categorizing the wide range of tasks involved in analyzing STCs. I conclude this work through a controlled user study comparing the performance of FlockViz with alternative visualization techniques that aid with cluster-based analytic tasks. Finally the exploration capability of FlockViz is demonstrated in some real life data sets such as fish movement, caribou movement, eagle migration, and hurricane movement. The results of the user studies and use cases confirm the advantage and novelty of the novel FlockViz design for visual analytic tasks.

Investigation of an OSLC-domain targeting ISO 26262 : Focus on the left side of the Software V-model

Castellanos Ardila, Julieth Patricia January 2016 (has links)
Industries have adopted a standardized set of practices for developing their products. In the automotive domain, the provision of safety-compliant systems is guided by ISO 26262, a standard that specifies a set of requirements and recommendations for developing automotive safety-critical systems. For being in compliance with ISO 26262, the safety lifecycle proposed by the standard must be included in the development process of a vehicle. Besides, a safety case that shows that the system is acceptably safe has to be provided. The provision of a safety case implies the execution of a precise documentation process. This process makes sure that the work products are available and traceable. Further, the documentation management is defined in the standard as a mandatory activity and guidelines are proposed/imposed for its elaboration. It would be appropriate to point out that a well-documented safety lifecycle will provide the necessary inputs for the generation of an ISO 26262-compliant safety case. The OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration) standard and the maturing stack of semantic web technologies represent a promising integration platform for enabling semantic interoperability between the tools involved in the safety lifecycle. Tools for requirements, architecture, development management, among others, are expected to interact and shared data with the help of domains specifications created in OSLC.This thesis proposes the creation of an OSLC tool-chain infrastructure for sharing safety-related information, where fragments of safety information can be generated. The steps carried out during the elaboration of this master thesis consist in the identification, representation, and shaping of the RDF resources needed for the creation of a safety case. The focus of the thesis is limited to a tiny portion of the ISO 26262 left-hand side of the V-model, more exactly part 6 clause 8 of the standard:  Software unit design and implementation. Regardless of the use of a restricted portion of the standard during the execution of this thesis, the findings can be extended to other parts, and the conclusions can be generalize. This master thesis is considered one of the first steps towards the provision of an OSLC-based and ISO 26262-compliant methodological approach for representing and shaping the work products resulting from the execution of the safety lifecycle, documentation required in the conformation of an ISO-compliant safety case. / Espresso 2 / Gen&ReuseSafetyCases
