Os recursos da computação gráfica na elaboração de projetos / Graphic computer resources in the working up of projects

A informática tem um amplo campo de atuação e sua evolução não tem sido apenas em direção à conquista de mais capacidade de memória e velocidade, mas principalmente no que tange aos três elementos básicos da comunicação: emissor, mensagem e receptor. As interfaces estão sendo otimizadas para que os usuários aumentem suas condições de concepção de projetos e diminuam o tempo necessário para adquirir conhecimento técnico e habilidade no manuseio. Sem dúvida, o computador ainda é motivo de travamento da fluidez do pensamento e ação sobre o mesmo, afinal investem-se tempo e memória para o aprendizado do manual de instrução ou tutoriais, se assim preferirem. Diante deste contexto em que todos se vêem acoplados a vários sistemas computacionais complexos, o recorte para este trabalho restringiu-se a um pequeno universo referente ao aprendizado da computação gráfica no curso de Arquitetura e Desenho Industrial da Faculdade de Artes Plásticas da Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado FAAP. Não houve a pretensão de se aprofundar a análise na área de ensino e aprendizado por falta de tempo para o domínio de um conhecimento no assunto, mas a essência é o alerta para os profissionais do ensino superior, no caso o curso de Arquitetura, se conscientizarem do amplo espectro de possibilidades de recursos computacionais como ferramenta didática para a concepção de modelos explorativos objetivando um aumento no tempo da investigação. / Information Technology provides a large range and its development is not only to improve memory and speed capacity but mainly to get the three basic principles of connection : sender, message and receiver. Interfaces have been optimized for users to add their possibilities of projects conceiving and to shorten the necessary time to acquire technical knowledge and handling abilities. Certainly, computer restrains thought streams and proceedings about it, so it has been invested in time and report for learning the instruction manual or tutorials, whether it is preferred. Due to this argument it becomes known that people are attached to several systems , then the aim of this project has restricted to a limited subject referring to learning of graphic design in the Architecture Course and Industrial Draw at FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteados Plastic Arts College. The claim was not to make a profound analysis in educational area in default of time to research about it more, but the most important is the advice to all graduated professionals, mainly the Architecture course ones, to keep aware about the large computer resources possibilities as a pedagogical tool to develop models, resulting in more time for researching.

The Digital Sales Bell : A design proposal for a digital, motivational work tool

This is a study within the area of computer science and industrial engineering and management, with focus on human computer interaction and management. The focal point for the thesis is work motivation with a digital approach; the possibilities of creating a digital tool that can increase sales employees’ motivation. The motivational effect of the physical Sales Bell, a tool used widely to motivate employees within sales, has been the basis of this project. A qualitative data gathering has been used to determine which functions and features the equivalent digital tool should possess. The collected data has also been the basic for creating personas and scenarios displaying the needs and potential use of the product. The agile design process has involved user-based testing and evaluations in order to develop an optimal design proposal and gain further understanding how the user perceives and interacts with the features and functions. The final prototype is presented together with a detailed specification of both interface design, software requirements and the estimated development cost. Thecase study and testing process has focused on the start-up telecom company Telness. / Det här är en studie inom området datavetenskap och industriell ekonomi, med fokus på människa-dator interaktion. Avhandlingens kärna är hur ett digitalt verktyg kan öka anställdas motivation på arbetsplatsen. Motivationseffekten från den fysiska säljklockan, ett känt motivationsverktyg inom säljverksamhet, har varit studiens utgångspunkt. En kvalitativ datainsamling med säljare som population har använts för att analysera och bestämma vilka funktioner ett motsvarande digitalt verktyg bör ha för att uppnå en motiverande effekt. Datainsamlingen har också fungerat som en bas vid skapandet av personas och scenarios, vilka visar vilka behov och vilken användning produktens framtida användare potentiellt kommer att ha. Den agila designprocessen har bestått av användarcentrerade tester och evalueringar som använts för att utveckla ett optimalt designförslag och få djupare förståelse för hur användare uppfattar och interagerar med prototypens funktioner. Den slutgiltiga prototypen presenteras tillsammans med en detaljerad specifikation innehållande gränssnittets design, krav på mjukvaran samt estimerad kostnad för att utveckla och integrera produkten i en säljverksamhet. För fallstudie och testprocess har start-up telekomföretaget Telness använts.

Ökad användarberedskap för digitala miljösimuleringar : Kravställning,utveckling och utvärdering av digital prototyp för användarintroduktion

Digital environmental simulations can be performed with different techniques and the most common technologies are virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality. Digital environmental simulations have proven to be effective in practicing surgery, industrial activities and for military exercises. Previous studies have shown that technology habits are a factor that affects whether digital environmental simulations can be used effectively. Thus, the purpose of the study was to investigate how users can be introduced to digital environmental simulations. To achieve the purpose, the following question was needed: How can a digital prototype be designed to introduce users to digital environmental simulations based on user needs? The study was based on design science as a research strategy, which meant that the study was carried out in three phases: development of requirements, development and evaluation of digital prototype. The production of requirements was made through a qualitative data collection in the form of semi-structured interviews. The interview questions were developed using a theoretical framework on digital competence. The interviews resulted in a requirement specification containing 15 user stories that were prioritized.Based onthe requirement specification, a digital prototype was developed in thedevelopment environment Unity. The evaluation of the digital prototype wascarried out in two stages, where the first was to evaluate internally and thesecond step was to evaluate externally. The external evaluation was conductedwith respondents who carried out a use test of the digital prototype thatresulted in proposals for further development. But it also resulted in usershaving increased knowledge and ability to see opportunities with digitalenvironmental simulations. The conclusion is that users can be introduced to digitalenvironmental simulations through a digital prototype designed based on userneeds. / Digitala miljösimuleringar kan utföras med olika tekniker och de vanligaste teknikerna är virtual reality, augmented reality och mixed reality. Digitala miljösimuleringar har visat sig vara effektiva för att öva på kirurgi, industrimoment samt för militärövningar. Tidigare studier har visat att teknikvana är en faktor som påverkar om digitala miljösimuleringar kan användas effektivt. Således var syftet med studien att undersöka hur användare kan introduceras till digitala miljösimuleringar. För att uppnå syftet behövdes följande frågeställning besvaras: Hur kan en digital prototyp utformas för att introducera användare till digitala miljösimuleringar baserat på användares behov? Studien har utgått från design science som forskningsstrategi, vilket medförde att studien har utförts i tre faser: framtagning av krav, utveckling och utvärdering av digital prototyp. Framtagning av krav skedde genom en kvalitativ datainsamling i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjufrågorna togs fram med hjälp av ett teoretiskt ramverk om digital kompetens. Intervjuerna resulterade i en kravspecifikation innehållande 15 användarberättelser som prioriterades.   Utifrån kravspecifikationen utvecklades en digital prototyp i utvecklingsmiljön Unity. Utvärderingen av den digitala prototypen genomfördes i två steg, där det första var att utvärdera internt och det andra steget var att utvärdera externt. Den externa utvärderingen genomfördes med respondenter som utförde ett användningstest av den digitala prototypen som resulterade i förslag till vidareutvecklingMen det resulterade även i att användare fick ökadkunskap och förmåga att se möjligheter med digitala miljösimuleringar.Slutsatsen är att användare kan introduceras till digitala miljösimuleringargenom en digital prototyp som utformats baserat på användares behov.
