No. of bitstreams: 2 license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5) Dissertacao_SustentabilidadeAgronegocioContradicoes.pdf: 3082766 bytes, checksum: d42e380382221dbd244e60f4ea02d100 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-06-24 / Nesta pesquisa a concretização da sustentabilidade do agronegócio em Mato Grosso, em sua dimensão social com garantia aos direitos humanos e dimensão ambiental, é confrontada tomando como referência o Município de Lucas do Rio Verde-MT, apontado pela mídia como o primeiro Município Verde do país que possui todas as propriedades rurais regularizadas de acordo com o Código Florestal, por isso também chamado de Lucas Legal. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica foi apresentado o Meio Ambiente no rol dos Direitos Humanos e apresentados os principais conceitos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Uma pesquisa bibliográfica acompanhada de uma pesquisa de campo apresentou a evolução histórica do Estado de Mato Grosso com detalhes a respeito da ocupação da região centro norte do estado, onde aconteceu a Marcha Verde para a ocupação da Amazônia. O lema lançado pelo Governo Federal era “Integrar para não Entregar”, estratégias de governo utilizadas para ocupar o local despovoado e resolver conflitos agrários nas regiões norte e sul do país. Neste cenário surge o Município de Lucas do Rio Verde-MT considerado um modelo de sustentabilidade a ser seguido, por atender aos indicativos da Organização das Nações Unidas – ONU sobre desenvolvimento sustentável. Uma pesquisa descritiva no Município verificou que o agronegócio, base da economia local, não é desenvolvido pelos moradores da região, mas por grandes empresas que se utilizam da cidade e da mão-de-obra para alcançar maiores lucros. Alguns exemplos envolvendo as maiores empresas que atuam no município demonstram que os problemas socioambientais enfrentados na região fragilizam o título de Município Verde demonstrando os impactos severos do emprego intensivo de agrotóxicos na saúde dos moradores e no meio ambiente da região. Este levantamento de dados alcançou a hipótese inicialmente proposta de que os indicadores de sustentabilidade apresentados pela ONU – Organização das Nações Unidas, bem como outras exigências nacionais e internacionais ambientais não são suficientes para garantir um meio ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado. Portanto, a hipótese foi confirmada após o levantamento e análise de dados apresentados no decorrer do trabalho. E o objetivo geral a que se propôs a pesquisa foi alcançado quando constatadas as contradições reais existentes entre o desenvolvimento econômico e as violações aos Direitos Humanos no Município de Lucas do Rio Verde – MT. / In this research the implementation of agribusiness sustainability in Mato Grosso, in its social dimension to guarantee human and environmental dimension rights, it is confronted by reference to the Lucas County Green-MT River, named by the media as the first Green City Country it has all settled farms according to the Forest Code, so also called Lucas Cool. Through bibliographical research was presented the Environment on the list of Human Rights and presented the main concepts of sustainable development. A literature search accompanied by a field survey presented the historical evolution of the state of Mato Grosso with details about the occupation of the north central region of the state, where it happened the Green March to the occupation of the Amazon. The slogan launched by the Federal Government was "Integrating not deliver," government strategies used to occupy the site depopulated and resolve land conflicts in the northern and southern regions of the country. In this scenario arises Luke's municipality of Rio Verde-MT considered a sustainability model to follow for meeting the indicative of the United Nations - UN on sustainable development. A descriptive research in the municipality found that agribusiness, base of the local economy is not developed by locals, but by large companies that use the city and hand labor to achieve higher profits. Some examples involving the largest companies operating in the municipality show that the social and environmental problems faced in the region weaken the title of Green Municipality demonstrating the severe impact of the intensive use of pesticides on the health of residents and the environment of the region. This survey data reached the hypothesis initially proposed that the sustainability indicators presented by the UN - the United Nations and other national and international environmental requirements are not sufficient to ensure an ecologically balanced environment. Therefore, the hypothesis was confirmed after the survey and data analysis presented in this work. And the overall goal it has set itself the research was achieved when identified existing real contradictions between economic development and human rights violations in the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde - MT.
