From an analysis modeled on comparable data of education in international projection, without the pretension to finish any discussion about the theme, this study intends to examine some federative cooperation mechanisms that serves to overcome or, at least , to mitigate education related issues in Brazil / O presente estudo trata da repartição de competências em matéria educacional e, para tanto, adota como pressupostos a estrutura e os contornos federativos do Estado brasileiro, bem como a relevância da educação em escala de formação individual e da sociedade. A partir de uma análise calcada em dados comparáveis da educação em projeção internacional, sem pretensão de exaurimento do tema, o estudo pretende examinar alguns mecanismos de cooperação federativa que sirvam à superação ou, quando menos, à mitigação dos problemas relacionados à qualidade do ensino no Brasil
