_________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Regulatory T cells have an important role in the suppression of the limphocytes T immune response , although the special conditions of expression to the antigen, that conduct to the generation of those cells, are not yet well-known. In this work, it was analysed the cellular population present in granulomatous lesions, obtained from the byopsies of patients with Paracoccidioidomycosis, Tuberculosis and Sarcoidosis cases. The Immunohistochemical analyisis of the molecule markers CD4, CD8, CD25, CTLA-4, CD20, CD75, CD3 AND CD45RO, have demonstrated, in all cases, an important migration of cells with the phenotypes CD3+, CD45RO+, CD20+ and CD75+. Analysing these markers, it was observed a positive correlation between the CD3 and the CD45RO and among the TCD8, CD25 and the CTLA-4. The expression of CTLA-4 was bigger in linphonode lesions cases than the ones with pulmonary lesions. The possible presence of Regulatory T cells in these lesions may be CD8+, with the capacity to negativity modulate the answer of T cells. However, despite the phenotype CD4+CD25+ be the most described in the regulatory T cells, other cellular populations may take part in this regulation, being necessary an additional analysis of different surface markers to characterize these T cells as regulatory.
