Doodle Processing System Using Cinder Graphics and Bullet Physics

This Master Thesis proposes a implementation for a doodle system which can scan hand drawn paper doodles using camera into the system and obtain a painting based on doodles impacting on a canvas in the system. The doodles which are scanned into the system are applied physical effects such as collisions and forces on. The implementation is supported by Cinder Library and Bullet Physics Library The Cinder used in this thesis is an open source C++ library developed by The Barbarian Group. The doodle system uses multiple draw methods and the framework provided by Cinder to build graphic components and a new system in a quick and efficient way. The Bullet Physics Library used in this thesis is a professional open source library for physics simulations. The Bullet is integrated into the doodle system as a component which perform physics simulations on doodles.

Nesse contexto, um tipo especial de mutação de marca foi introduzido pela Google, empresa que nasceu no ciberespaço e traz elementos de jogos digitais para levar uma experiência lúdica aos seus usuários. Nesse trabalho investigamos a mutação de marcas tomando como base trabalhos de diferentes autores na construção de um modelo de análise. De maneira geral, utilizamos os aportes sobre marca mutante de Kreutz (2005), Felsing (2010) e Nes (2012), acrescentando investigações no contexto de brinquedos com Vygotsky (1984) e Kishimoto (1996) e de jogos digitais por meio de Huizinga (1993) e Salen & Zimmerman (2012). Nosso modelo possibilita classificar as marcas mutantes em quatro categorias de mutação: estática, animada, brinquedo e jogável. Aplicamos o modelo para analisar 12 doodles da Google publicados no ano de 2013 nos quais observamos a existência dos quatro tipos de mutação propostos pelo modelo. Nosso trabalho contribui para o Design enquanto área de conhecimento, mais especificamente no universo do Design da Informação e do Design de Jogos, à medida que introduz o conceito de marca mutante jogável e aponta casos concretos já publicados desse tipo de mutação.

The advantages with breeding purebred dogs are that offspring will be more predictable when it comes to morphology, possible diseases, and mentality. This enables breeding more healthy animals since it makes it possible to track the health history, but it is also resulting in a higher inbreeding, extreme breeding standards and thus sicker animals. Labradoodle and Goldendoodle are two new mix-breeds, bred to be the ultimate companion dog with a good mentality and health. In this literature review their physical and mental health is compared with their parent breeds, Labrador, or Golden retriever, and Poodle. The breed-specific health problem that is seen with the parent breeds is also seen in labradoodle and goldendoodle. Hybrid vigour is not present in doodles. Mix-breeds live longer lives, but they also seem to be less stable with higher fear and aggression / Fördelarna med att avla renrasiga hundar är att människan enklare kan förutspå utseende, eventuella hälsoproblem och avkommans mentalitet. Detta ger en möjlighet till friskare hundar eftersom man kan spåra hundens hälsohistoria, men det leder också till en högre inavelsgrad, extrema rasstandarder och på så vis risk för sjukare hundar. Labradoodle och goldendoodle är två nya blandraser, designerraser, avlade för att bli den ultimata sällskapshunden med en god hälsa och mentalitet. Här jämförs deras fysiska och mentala hälsa med deras föräldraraser, labrador eller golden retriever, och pudel, i en litteraturstudie. De rasbundna sjukdomarna man ser hos föräldraraserna ses också hos labradoodle och goldendoodle. Heterosiseffekten kan inte ses hos doodles. Blandraser lever generellt längre liv, men de verkar också vara mindre stabila med högre rädsla och aggressivitet.
