Bakgrund: Många kvinnor upplever höga förväntningar på sig själva och sin prestation, vilket kan leda till ett så kallat “duktig flicka” syndrom som orsakas av individuella, psykologiska och samhälleliga faktorer. Syfte: Syftet med arbetet är att belysa faktorer som kan orsaka psykisk ohälsa bland unga kvinnor vid prestation. Metod: En litteraturstudie har genomförts där 10 stycken vetenskapliga artiklar har analyserats och utgjort resultatet. Resultat: Studiens resultat har delats upp i sex olika teman, där alla påverkar konstruktionen av den “duktiga flickan”: självkänsla, prestation, genus, normer, socialt stöd och arbetsplatsen. Diskussion: Studiens resultat påvisade att det är flera riskfaktorer som påverkar utvecklandet av syndromet. Alla som utsätts för en av dessa riskfaktorer utvecklas inte till “duktiga flickor”, utan med största sannolikhet så är det en kombination av flera riskfaktorer som gör att en individ utvecklar ohälsa i relation till prestation. Slutsats: Psykisk ohälsa bland unga kvinnor vid prestation är ett folkhälsoproblem. För att komma tillrätta med det är det viktigt att belysa både yttre och inre faktorer hos individen samt sociala konstruktioner.  Nyckelord: Duktig flicka, normer, genus, prestation, självkänsla, krav, psykisk ohälsa, kvinnor / Background: Many women experience high expectations of themselves and their achievement. That can lead to a so-called "good-girl” syndrome, which is caused by individual, psychological and social factors. Purpose: The main purpose of this work is to investigate possible factors that can cause mental illness among young women in performance. Method: A literature study was conducted in which 10 scientific articles were analyzed and discussed. Result: The results of this study raised six themes describing, which all of them contributes to the construction of the “good-girl”: self-esteem, performance, gender, norms, social support and workplace. Discussion: The results of this study showed that there are several risk factors that affect the development of the “good girl” syndrome. If someone is exposed to one of these risk factors it will not imply that the individual will automatically turn into a "good girl", most likely, it is a combination of several risk factors that causes an individual to develop mental illness in relation to performance. Conclusion: Mental illness among young women in performance is a public health problem. To address this, it is important to illuminate both external and internal factors of an individual as well as social constructions.
