Možnosti využití psychoterapie při práci s oběťmi domácího násilí: úhel pohledu pracovníků několika pražských krizových a intervenčních center / Possibilities of using psychotherapy while working with the victims of domestic violence: perspective of workers of several Prague's crisis and intervention centers

Vrbová, Markéta January 2015 (has links)
Markéta Vrbová Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using psychotherapy while working with the victims of domestic violence. The aim is to introduce the perspective of this issue from the view of workers from several crisis and intervention centers in Prague. The thesis is structured into two sections; theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains the definition of domestic violence, its consequences including post-traumatic stress disorder, working with a violent person, and last but not least the possibilities of using psychotherapy and its definition. The empirical part is based on qualitative research, which describes the steps throughout the whole survey. The analysis and interpretation of the data contain the most important extracts of the interviews. This thesis discovers not only if social workers use psychotherapeutic elements with victims, but also other significant topics that are marginally mentioned. The focus must be on these marginally mentioned issues as well to improve the quality of work with victims of domestic violence.

Obaly a jejich vliv na efektivitu logistických operací / Packaging and Its Influence on the Effectiveness on Logistic Operations

PECHOVÁ, Jaroslava January 2008 (has links)
The topic of my work is packaging and its influence on the effectiveness of logistic operations. The main aim of my diploma work was an analysis of portfolio of products of a packaging industry which enters distributive chains in the sphere of an elected sortiment group from the point of view of their applicability for logistic operations. I acquired information for elaborating this work from the company Schenker, Ltd., Jamall, Inc. and next from shopping chains. I compared pallets which are used by the company Schenker in logistics. In the company Jamall I dealt with a portfolio of furniture and its influence on effectiveness of logistic operations. In shopping chains I dealt with the matter of conveniency or inconviency of packaging of non-alcoholic beverages. Next I applied a properly elaborated questionnaire aimed at environment and packaging. I applied the method of observation, controlled interview, analysis of documents, processing data from the operations register file and questionnaire investigation for acquiring necessary information. I made a conclusion that a proper choice of packaging has an essential influence on lowering costs involving storage, manipulation and transport.

RESIST, OCCUPY, and PRODUCE: The Evolution of Autonomous Struggle in Argentina

Blair, James January 2007 (has links)
Thesis advisor: Deborah Levenson / The emergence of the concept of Fair Trade has inspired a new form of supply-determination by socially conscious consumers. Since it began official certification, Fair Trade has served as a tool to curb the exploitation of labor. It has also promoted direct connections between vendors and producers, organized participatory democracy, continuity in trade relations, respect for the environment, movement toward equal status of gender, and living wages for workers. Small family farmers now produce over 51 percent of coffee in the world, and 90 percent of the world's cocoa. With a History Honors Thesis, I seek to examine the use of worker-owned recuperated factories of Argentina for the production of Fair Trade footwear and apparel. Such factories require more complicated chains of supply (primary materials, numerous factories for production, contractors, transportation, warehouses, and retail) than primary materials such as coffee. Started in the 1980s, the recuperated factories in Argentina may provide the complex links to a sweatshop-free market, which have been lacking. The experiment has exploded to about 180 businesses since an economic crisis in 2001 forced owners to flee and workers to gain expropriation, half through legislation and half through occupation, according to journalist Andrés Ruggeri. My project seeks to investigate whether chains of production and distribution of complex Fair Trade certified or sweatshop-free products, using recuperated factories in Argentina, could serve as an economic alternative for manufactured Fair Trade products. By pursuing in-depth research on this project and understanding porteño culture and labor struggles, I have built a strong foundation for a thesis. My independent study project for the School for International Training during my Fall 2005 semester abroad in the Southern Cone (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Brazil) became my passion and provides preliminary background information. Basing the project on interviews I had conducted with workers from ceramics, textile, and shoe recuperated factories all over, I found evidence of new supply chains with words from key leaders like Raul Godoy, Vasco Abelli, and Luis Caro (Control Obrero, El Movimiento Nacional de Empresas Recuperadas, and El Movimiento Nacional de Fábricas Recuperadas por los Trabajadores). I also became personally involved in the network of founders of current trade groups based in Argentina, with whom I will consult for my work on the History Honors Thesis. Building directly on research interests, and especially the interviews that I conducted in my semester in Argentina, I will address the complexities of the philosophical foundations, key figures, and actions that have comprised the vast history of labor in Argentina from its pre-capitalist mutuales artisan communities up to the contemporary situation with close academic mentorship from Professor Levenson. With plentiful sources of information, I will document each prospective or current deal to produce for Fair Trade distributors, develop an understanding of which products are feasible for ethical supply chains, analyze the success of such collaborations with new distributors, and compare and contrast them with business for former or other clients. Portions of the movement vary in ideology and vision, but all seek to maintain relations with former distributors. The primary concern is surviving and gaining expropriation, but the movement is witnessing a series of new strong inter-relations and projects for Fair Trade. There is a hopeful outlook for the recuperated factories, and integration into a Fair Trade market is a feasible goal for the next era (2006-2011) of the movement. / Thesis (BA) — Boston College, 2007. / Submitted to: Boston College. Lehen Mundu Gerra ‘Eskualduna’ astekarian / La Première Guerre Mondiale dans l'hebdomadaire 'Eskualduna

Bidegain, Eneko 05 June 2012 (has links)
The Basque language weekly Eskualduna was founded by Louis Etcheverry the Bonapartistpolitician, in a climate of political tension between the white and red. It was a weekly thatwas close to the Church, opposed the Republic and was politically linked to the FrenchRight. The publication had thousands of readers in the Continental Basque Country. It wasin this context that the French national consciousness was being constructed, and the tugof-war between European nation-states in 1914 broke out with the First World War.Eskualduna gave a major coverage of the war. Its editors and reporters were mobilized andthe weekly published articles written directly from the war front. In addition to logisticalproblems, the newspaper had to undergo censorship, even if publication accepted theofficial warrant. During the war, the weekly asserted that France was in a good situation; itminimized the lapels and emphasized the good news for France. Although the Basquecharacter had a great presence in the newspaper, this should not be interpreted as amanifestation of a Basque national consciousness. On the contrary, the newspaper, and its6editors, identified with France. Basque identity was understood as forming part of Frenchidentity. The Catholic nature was the third axis of the of the publication’s characteristics. The weekly emphasized the fact that soldiers were good Christians and that God was withFrance. Hence, Eskualduna tried to demonstrate that the consequences of the lawseparating Church and State were unfair and it claimed that France was indeed a Christiancountry. / Eskualduna euskarazko astekaria zurien eta gorrien arteko lehia politikoaren erdian sortuzuen Louis Etcheverry politikari bonapartistak. Elizarengandik hurbil, eta Errepublikarenkontra, Frantziako eskuinaren ildo politikoko astekaria zen, eta Ipar Euskal Herriko milakaetxetara heltzen zen. Giro hartan gorpuzten ari zen frantses nazioaren kontzientzia, etaEuropako estatu-nazioen arteko lehia 1914ean lehertu zen, Lehen Gerla Mundialean.Eskualduna-k oihartzun handia eman zion gerla hari; bere idazle batzuek gerlako lekuetatikberriak igortzen zituzten. Azpiegitura arazoez gain, zentsuraren arauak ere jasan behar izanzituen, nahiz eta horrekin bat egin. Gerlaz eman zituen berriekin Frantzia egoera oneanzegoela erakutsi nahi izan zuen, gerlaren alde gogorrak gutxietsiz, eta ahal zen guztietanberriak berri on gisa aurkeztuz, alegia, Frantziaren aldeko gisa. Nahiz eta euskal izaerak lekuhandia zuen astekariko artikuluetan, soldaduen gutunetan nabaritu zitekeen herriminarengibelean ez zegoen euskal kontzientzia nazionalik; alderantziz, osoki identifikatzen zirenFrantziarekin, eta euskaldun izatea frantses izatearen parte zen. Giristino izaera, Eskualdunaegiten zutenen nortasunaren hirugarren zutabea zen. Garrantzia eman zioten soldaduakgiristino onak zirela eta Jainkoa Frantziaren alde zela azpimarratzeari.
