Denna forskningsproduktion diskuterar den fysiska lärobokens roll i matematikundervisningen. I studien ersätts därför den fysiska läroboken under sex matematiklektioner med en digital matematiktjänst (https://Eddler.se) för att sedan analysera elevers och lärares erfarenheter med hjälp av en tematisk analys efter interventionen. Studien baseras på aktionsforskning från lärarperspektiv och en enkätstudie där respondenterna består av elever i årskurs 1 på gymnasiet. Resultatet visar att en majoritet av eleverna anser att den fysiska boken skulle kunna ersättas av en digital matematiktjänst. De belyser även i fritextsvar positiva aspekter kring uppgiftslösandet, videogenomgångar, flexibilitet och relevans. Bland de negativa aspekterna som framställdes kunde erfarenheter av att den automatiska rättningen kunde ge fel svar även om det var rätt, att datorn kunde vara en distraktion, och tekniska fel förekomma. Från lärarens perspektiv ansågs tjänsten erbjuda en transparens kring elevernas progression som bidrog till att läraren lättare kunde se vad eleverna hade svårt för inom området. Vidare belystes den kontinuerliga uppdateringen som något positivt, där fel i facit eller ändringar i ämnesplanen kunde korrigeras på tjänsten jämfört med en lärobok där en ny bok behöver tryckas och köpas in för att uppdateras. / This research production discusses the role of the physical textbook in teaching mathematics. Within the study, the physical textbook is replaced during six mathematics lessons with a digital mathematics service (https://Eddler.se) to analyze students 'and teachers' experiences with the help of a thematic analysis after the intervention. The study is based on action research from a teacher perspective and a questionnaire where the respondents consist of students in year 1 of upper secondary school. The results show that a majority of the students believe that the physical book could be replaced by a digital mathematics service. Within the free text answers positive aspects regarding task solving, video lessons, flexibility and relevance. Among the negative aspects it was discerned experiences that resolves the automatic correction, and how it could give you the wrong answer even if it was correct, they also present that the computer could be a distraction, and that technical errors could occur. From the teacher’s perspective, the service was considered to offer transparency about the students' progression, which contributed to the teacher’s ability of recognizing the difficulties that the students were having within the area. Furthermore, the continuous update was highlighted as something positive, where errors in the results or changes in the syllabus could be corrected on the service compared to a textbook where a new book needs to be printed and purchased to be updated.
