Rendimiento académico en estudiantes de 2do a 4to de primaria según los estilos educativos parentales / Academic performance in 2nd through 4th grade students according to parental educational stylesGarofolin Caro, Gioana Carella 07 December 2018 (has links)
Parents are the people who directly influence the development of their children, both in personal and academic terms. The objective of the study is that the children of parents whose style is closer to the democratic present a better academic performance than the children of parents with authoritarian, negligent and indulgent styles. For this, a sample of 200 parents was taken, whose children are between the 2nd and 4th grade of primary school, 42% (N = 84) were male and 58% (N = 116) were female; Children's ages range from 6 to 10 years and average grades between 11 to 20 points. At the descriptive level, a greater percentage of indulgent parents was found (36.5%), followed by the democratic style (31.5%), the authoritarian style (26.5%) and finally the negligent style (5.5%). At the inferential level, it was found that academic performance is not determined by parental style. Therefore, the hypothesis raised in the investigation is rejected. / Tesis
