No. of bitstreams: 1 Geysa Spitz Alcoforado de Abreu.pdf: 6093329 bytes, checksum: e004399e04b853b8531f8121b1371a76 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-06-15 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / It is the study of the path of the intellectual Paranaense Lysimaco Ferreira da Costa, that has as main objectives: to reconstitute his formation path and professional path, identifying the groups he belonged to and his net of social, intellectuals and political relationships; to examine the atmospheres and the situations where his formation took place; to identify the ideas that he defended, characterizing his distinctive lines, or linked to the others projects in circulation in Brazil; to verify the reach of his intervention, as intellectual, both in the education debate of his time, and in the configuration of the institutions that he was part of, and even in the organization of the system of public education in gestation. This study reveals that Lysimaco Ferreira da Costa was an intellectual concerned with the construction of a cultural project for the country. He was a great marketer for Paraná, and his intellectual qualities and his "ideological polyvalence" checked him projection and circulation among the renowned Brazilian Educators. He participated actively on the project of creation of the Brazilian Association of Education, as well as helped to consolidate it, helping many of its members, in several ways and in different moments. He was member of the selected group of national educators who were given the select task of elaborating an opinion that would serve as chapter on the national education, for the project of the Constitution of 1934, known as "Group of the Ten." For the accomplishment of this study, legal sources were used in the State Department of Public File of Paraná - DEAP, in the Division of Historical Research and Publications - DPAP, such as: Collection of Laws, Ordinances, Acts and Regulations and Reports of Public Instruction; the sources of Paranaense s Documents Division, of the Public Library of Paraná, with prominence for the microfilms of newspapers of that time. It was consulted, still, Neo-Pitagórico's file Institute in Curitiba, where there are located many copies of several newspapers, including the one of Freemasons and anticlerical. It stands out; however, that most of the documentation used in this study was the result of an intense work of data s search in the Memorial Lysimaco Ferreira da Costa, his main collection / Trata-se do estudo da trajetória do intelectual paranaense Lysimaco Ferreira da Costa, que teve por objetivos: reconstituir sua trajetória de formação e trajetória profissional, identificando seus grupos de pertencimento e sua rede de relações sociais, intelectuais e políticas; examinar os ambientes e as situações em que se deu a sua formação; identificar as idéias que defendeu, caracterizando seus traços distintivos, ou aparentados aos dos demais projetos então em circulação no Brasil; verificar o alcance de sua intervenção, como intelectual, tanto no debate educacional de sua época, como na configuração das instituições de que fez parte, e, mesmo, na organização do sistema de educação pública em gestação. Este estudo revela que Lysimaco Ferreira da Costa foi um intelectual preocupado com a construção de um projeto cultural para o país. Foi um grande divulgador do Paraná, e suas qualidades intelectuais e sua polivalência ideológica lhe conferiram projeção e circulação entre os renomados educadores brasileiros. Participou ativamente do projeto de criação da Associação Brasileira de Educação, bem como ajudou a consolidá-la, prestando auxílio a muitos de seus integrantes, de forma diversa e em variados momentos. Fez parte, ainda, do seleto grupo de educadores nacionais incumbidos da tarefa de elaborar um parecer que serviria de capítulo sobre a educação nacional para o anteprojeto da Constituição de 1934, conhecido como Grupo dos Dez . Para a realização deste estudo, foram utilizadas fontes legais localizadas no Departamento Estadual de Arquivo Público do Paraná - DEAP, na Divisão de Pesquisa Histórica e Publicações - DPAP, tais como: Coleção de Leis, Decretos, Actos e Regulamentos e Relatórios de Instrução Pública; as fontes da Divisão de Documentação Paranaense, da Biblioteca Pública do Paraná, com destaque para os microfilmes de jornais da época. Consultou-se, ainda, o arquivo do Instituto Neo-Pitagórico em Curitiba, onde estão localizados exemplares de diversos periódicos, incluindo os de maçons e anticlericais. Destaca-se, porém, que a maior parte da documentação utilizada neste estudo foi fruto de um intenso trabalho de garimpagem de dados no Memorial Lysimaco Ferreira da Costa, sendo este, portanto, o seu principal acervo
