Rizikové chování na sociálních sítích a jeho prevence u žáků základních a středních škol / Risky Behaviour of Elementary and Secondary School Pupils on Social Networks and Its PreventionBotlík, Tomáš January 2019 (has links)
The following final thesis "Risky behaviour of lower and upper secondary school students on social networks and its prevention" introduces the topic of primary prevention of cyberbullying and security on social networks with regards to their current use by lower and upper secondary school students. Another aim of the thesis is to ascertain which forms of risky social behaviour the target groups currently encounter on social networks and to find out the ways in which these social networks are used (the most commonly used applications, the frequency of their use etc.). The thesis doesn't focus solely on social networks, it also addresses the subject matter of critical thinking since one of the problematic aspects of using social networks by young people is the fact that they use multiple sources of information without further verification. Following the results of the research, short-term activities of primary prevention for both target groups are proposed. They aim to encourage the development of critical thinking and media studies. The proposed activities can be further incorporated into long-term prevention programmes. They include recommendations for teacher lesson planning and self-study tips. The content of the activities is based on the study of both theoretical and methodological...

Multimediální a projektová výchova a její vliv na očekávání učitele předmětu a na postoje a názory studentů střední školy s technickým zaměřením / Multimedia a and project education and its impact on the expectation of the teacher and on the attitudes and opinions of the students of the secondary school with a technical field of studyŠímová, Eva January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis, by means of a qualitative research, deals with the attitudes, opinions and behaviour towards media of the selected students who are at grade L3 at a technical secondary school at the beginning of the school year and it is focused on potential changes in these attitudes, opinions and behaviour after a half-year attendance of the subject called Multimedia and Project Education which should fulfil aims written in the RVP dealing with the topic called Media Education. During the research 24 dialogues were realized in two periods, at the beginning of the school year of 2015/2016 and after the first term of this school year. After coding, analysis and interpretation of the data it was observed that there were certain changes in some students' opinions and behaviour; however, most of the students' attitudes were the same. The function of the research is rather explorative and it could be a source of inspiration for a further research taken in the field of media education in the Czech Republic. Although the achieved results dealing with the changes in the field of attitudes, opinions and behaviour are valid only for the selected students at the chosen technical secondary school, the value of the work could be also seen in the fact that, by an example of a school, a teacher and a class,...

Teachers' professional identity in the digital world : a digital ethnography of Religious Education teachers' engagement in online social spaceRobson, James January 2014 (has links)
This thesis presents an ethnographic investigation of teachers’ peer-to-peer engagement in online social spaces, using the concept of teachers’ professional identity as a framework to shape and focus the study. Using Religious Education (RE) as a strong example of the wider phenomenon of teachers’ online engagement, three online social spaces (the Times Educational Supplement’s RE Forum, the National Association of Teachers of RE Facebook Page, and the Save RE Facebook Group) were investigated as case studies. A year was spent in these spaces with digital ethnographic research taking place simultaneously in each one. Data gathering primarily took the form of participant observations, in depth analysis of time-based sampled text (three 8-week samples from each space), online and offline narrative based interviews and, to a lesser extent, questionnaires, elite interviews and analysis of grey literature. The study finds that engagement in the online social spaces offered teachers opportunities to perform and construct their professional identities across a variety of topics ranging from local practical concerns to national political issues. In more practical topics the spaces could often be observed as acting as communities of practice in which professional learning took place and identities were constructed, with such online professional development influencing offline classroom practice. However, engaging across this spectrum of topics afforded users a broad conception of what it means to be a teacher, where professional identity was understood as going beyond classroom practice and integrating engagement with subject-wide, political and policy related issues at a national level. Such engagement provided many users with a feeling of belonging to a national community of peers, which, alongside political activism initiated in online interaction and meaning making debates concerning the future and identity of the subject, provided teachers with feelings of empowerment and a sense of ownership of their subject. However, the study found that teachers’ online engagement took place within structures embedded in the online social spaces that influenced and shaped engagement and the ways in which users’ professional identities were performed and constructed. These structures were linked with the design and technical affordances of the spaces, the agendas of the parent organisations that provided the spaces, and the discourses that dominated the spaces. These aspects of the spaces provided a structure that limited engagement, content and available online identity positions while additionally projecting ideal identity positions, distinctive in each space. These ideal identity positions had a constructive influence over many users who aspired to these ideals, often gaining confidence through expressing such socially validated ideals or feeling inadequate when failing to perform such ideal identity positions. Thus, this study finds a complex relationship between agency linked with active online identity performance and the constructive influence of embedded structures that contributed to the shaping of users’ engagement and their understandings of themselves as professionals and their subject.

L'USO DELLE RISORSE ONLINE E DEL BLENDED LEARNING NELLA DIDATTICA DEL RUSSO (CON DUE PROPOSTE DIDATTICHE)MACAGNO, CLAUDIO GABRIELE 15 April 2019 (has links)
The influence of technologies on everyday life, as it emerges clearly, is increasingly pervasive. Assuming that the use of technologies adds a certain value to language education, in this dissertation we first considered some connections between technologies and learning and teaching languages, in particular dwelling upon Internet and media education (Chapter 1). Then we selected and analysed several websites and free online resources dealing with the Russian language. The result of this work is the inventory of websites and online resources, which we conceived as a useful tool for students and teachers of Russian as a foreign language (Chapter 7). In detail, in the first part of this research work we suggested some online resources to teach absolute beginners the Russian alphabet (Chapter 2) and to develop different competences and skills: phonological (Chapter 3), lexical (Chapter 4), morphological and syntactical (Chapter 5), and textual (Chapter 6). Whereas, in the second part, we dealt with the main characteristics of various types of learning (face-to-face, distance and online learning, blended learning, formal and informal learning etc.) (Chapter 8). In addition we developed two different proposals, the first for University level (Chapter 9), the second conceived for the school classroom (Chapter 10). Our proposals are based on both experiences of collaborative learning and on the use of technologies and online resources.
