The present study has as main purpose analyze ethnographically the experiences of offender adolescents’ tribes who were part of socio-educational programs in São Carlos – SP, during the years of 2006 and 2007. As theoretical methodological reference it was used the writer Michel Maffesoli who was chosen due to his social anthropological view that points out the end of the individualism on post modern society being substituted by the tribalism, the experience of living in group. Living in times of tribes our attention was focused on NAI (an integrated service program) and on Semi Liberty program, both implemented according to ECA – Statute of the Child and Adolescent – as part of educational programs realized in São Carlos during the period that this study was accomplished. Those institutions were chosen due to their singular way of treating the adolescents, recognizing them as citizens who have rights and obligations. By searching the culture of offender adolescents, it is possible to notice an interface with their daily life, culture and educational process. This research is significant considering new demands of education and the necessity of giving a special attention to those adolescents who are marginalized. It shows they can be now anguished and in the next moment enchanted by life and those unstable behaviors are reflected sometimes by social violence and sometimes by a sincere solidarity with their group.

Rech, Daniele Marimon Ruzzante January 2005 (has links)
The goal of this research was to verify the influences of a motor educational program with three distinct approaches of interventions on motor development of children with six to nine months of age, who were born preterm. The subjects were intentionally allocated to these three groups. Nineteen children took part in interventions directed by the researcher, in an individual approach, at their homes (GI), 19 children took part in interventions directed by the researcher, in groups of four or five children, on the physical therapy ambulatory of Hospital da Criança Santo Antônio (GG) and 17 children took part in interventions performed by their parents, at their homes, after receiving orientations given by the researcher (GD). All parents watched to a lecture and received the same orientations before the program, as well as a protocol with the activities which composed the motor educational program. Initially, it was asked for the parents to fulfill the questionnaire of Critério de Classificação Econômica Brasil (CCEB) and a written report of children daily activities. As results, it was verified that children in GI and GG presented a significant improvement in motor performance (respectively, p=0,001 and p= 0,002), which was not observed in children of GD (p=0,078). Moreover, children in GI presented a grater motor performance when compared to GG (p=0,015) and GD (p= 0,003) at the end of study. It was not observed significant difference in motor performance between GG and GD at the end of study (p=0,364). Considering the daily routine, it was observed that children in GG presented the greatest modifications in activities which reflected more liberty and stimulation at home context. It was not observed significant correlations between organic conditions, social-economical conditions and daily routine activities with motor performance of children. We concluded that the motor educational program with individual approach, directed by the researcher, was better than the others in improving motor development of preterm children.

Využití přírodovědných muzeí a přírodovědných sbírek ve výuce / Use of natural science museums and collections for educational purposes

Jandová, Jana January 2010 (has links)
Nowadays there is a considerable tendency towards encouraging students to seek for information and deepen their knowledge themselves rather than classical frontal educational methods. Thanks to this trend teachers tend to use i.e. museum collections for educational purposes in order to present life in the past as well as at present to students in a more enjoyable way. Everything that students learn by their own experience is sure to be remembered more vividly. The aim of my Master Thesis is to propose excursions to four selected museums. Worksheets are to be provided for each excursion and shall be tested in practice as well. The conclusion of the Master Thesis is that museums strive to attract schools with various educational programs, lectures and excursions. Nevertheless, they concentrate mainly on social sciences. Educational programs, intended solely for natural sciences or biology, are very rare. However, biology teachers may - to a considerable extent - use wide variety of expositions and collections of museums. Key words: excursion, educational program, worksheet, museum, children's museums

Postoj učitelů k nové kurikulární reformě / Attitude of teachers to the new curriculum reform

Zelená, Lucie January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis is designed as quantitative research study. The aim is to find out the opinion and attitude of teachers from Czech primary schools concerning the new curriculum reform, which has officially come into use in the form of Framework Educational Program in 2005. The new system of curriculum documents replaces the former educational programs based on centrally imposed curriculum and thus broadens the autonomy of teachers and school institutions, who were assigned to prepare their own school educational program. Besides the changes both in the main objectives of primary education and to some extend in the educational content, there has also been a shift in the role and expectations related to the teacher profession. The main purpose of the study is to find out and describe teacher's prevailing opinion of such change in the educational concept and its benefits at the level of compulsory education. Another aim is to present, how teachers perceive the barriers and inner motivations related to these reform changes in schools, and how these barriers affect the overall attitude towards the reform. The research will also show how the changes in schools since the formal reform introduction are evaluated and which parts of the reform realization and to what extend are considered problematic. At last, the...
